Position Summary

Position Purpose

The Teacher of English is responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment, and facilitating student progress. This role involves planning and executing effective lessons, assessing student performance, and providing meaningful feedback to help learners achieve their language goals in alignment with institutional standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Instructional Delivery
  • Deliver dynamic and effective English language lessons across various levels and course types (e.g., Junior English Programme [JEP], Advanced Young Learners Programme [AYL], General English Programme [GEP], and Certificate Courses in Academic English).
  • Lesson Planning & Preparation
  • Design and implement detailed lesson plans that align with the approved curriculum, learning objectives, and student needs.
  • Prepare and adapt high-quality teaching materials and resources to enhance student engagement.
  • Assessment & Student Progress
  • Conduct regular formative and summative assessments, including progress tests and final exams.
  • Provide constructive and timely feedback to students regarding their performance and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievement data.
  • Student Support & Engagement
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in English Language Teaching or Education (For Cambodian Applicants)
  • Bachelor's Degree in alongside an accredited teaching credential (such as TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or DELTA) is highly desirable (For native English speakers)
Work History:
  • English language teaching experience for 2 years is preferred
Skills & Knowledge:

  • Experience in standardized test preparation (e.g., LANGUAGECERT, IELTS, TOEFL).

The Marketing Assistant will support E.L.A English Language Academy Co., Ltd. in developing and executing marketing activities to promote programmes and increase student enrollment. The role focuses on content creation, digital marketing, campaign execution, event coordination, and administrative support to strengthen E.L.A’s brand awareness and engage prospective students, parents, and the wider community.

This position requires creativity, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to support both digital and on-the-ground marketing activities in a dynamic education environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Marketing Strategy & Campaigns
  • Assist in conducting market research on competitor schools, course offerings, pricing, and student demand.
  • Help prepare marketing calendars, campaign timelines, and promotional schedules for student recruitment and enrollment activities.
  • Support the identification and segmentation of target audiences, including children, teenagers, university students, working professionals, and parents.
  • Provide administrative support for the development and implementation of annual and quarterly marketing plans.
  • Digital Marketing & Content Management
  • Assist in creating, scheduling, and updating content across E.L.A’s website, social media platforms, and other digital channels.
  • Support the execution of digital campaigns to increase enquiries, trial-class registrations, and student enrollments.
  • Assist in producing engaging content such as class activities, student testimonials, highlights, videos, graphics, and school updates.
  • Monitor digital marketing performance and assist in preparing basic reports and data analysis.

Cashier

Position Summary

Reports To: Finance Manager

Business Unit: Finance

The Cashier will manage daily financial transactions for E.L.A English Language Academy Co., Ltd., including processing student tuition fees, book sales, and issuing official receipts. The role ensures accurate financial record-keeping, provides excellent customer service at the front desk, and supports the administrative team in maintaining smooth operations during student enrollment periods.

This position requires high integrity, strict attention to detail, and the ability to handle cash and digital payments securely while interacting professionally with students, parents, and staff.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Payment processing & Invoicing
  • Accurately process tuition fees, registration fees, placement test fees, and course material purchases.
  • Issue receipts, and process refunds according to school policy.
  • Handle multiple payment methods including cash, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers (e.g., KHQR/ABA).
  • Cash Management & Reporting
  • Reconcile daily cash register and digital transactions at the end of each shift.
  • Prepare daily and weekly cash collection reports for the Finance Department.
  • Ensure sufficient small change is available at the payment counter.
  • Assist in depositing cash into the company bank account as required securely.
  • Student Account Management
  • Update and maintain accurate student payment records in the school's database/management system.

The Academic Assistant plays a dual role in supporting academic logistics and the management of learning resources, with the primary objective of ensuring the smooth operation of teaching schedules, student records, and the Resource Centre Management (RCM). The officer is responsible for coordinating academic events, managing instructional materials, and assisting both staff and students with technical and administrative needs related to the learning environment, requiring high organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining professional standards across all academic support services.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Academic Logistics & Coordination
  • Draft teaching schedules and manage room usage and allocation effectively.
  • Arrange covers and make-up tests for end-of-term assessments.
  • Sort and distribute tests to teachers.
  • Maintain accurate student academic records.
  • Coordinate academic events and functions such as workshops for students, graduations and staff parties.
  • Resource Centre Management
