Announcement Description

Cambodian Water Supply Association (CWA) is a local professional association that specializes in water service supply both in urban and rural areas of Cambodia. We work closely with water service providers throughout the country, and development partners— USAID-WASH-FIN, WaterAid, EMW, Water.org, UNICEF, AWA, KOWBA, etc., banks, supplying companies, and relevant ministries to bring clean, safe, and affordable water to all Cambodian people. Our roles are: (1) to support and promote cooperation among water operators in Cambodia, (2) to enhance knowledge and technical skills based on best global practices in Cambodia, and (3) to encourage the sustainable expansion of water supply services in Cambodia.

Under funding support from Water.org, CWA is going to implement a project named “Improving Cambodian Utilities’ Bankability to Increase Water Access”. In this project, CWA will produce a video to educate the community people and all stakeholders to have a better understanding of the private water supply business and services.

We are currently looking for A Filmmaker with the following salient features.

Objective:

  1. The audience can get to know the process of treated water and distinguish between treated and untreated water.
  2. Community people and local authorities have a better understanding of the private water supply business and services such as connection fees, water tariffs, quantity and quality of water supplied
  3. The households which are not yet connected to the piped water supply will get motivated to connect to piped water supply if piped water infrastructure is available to them.

Purpose of the Video:

  • Develop a video t to advocate people and authorities to understand the importance of using clean water
  • Video can be displayed at CWA website and media
  • PWOs can use this video to show or explain people and authority
  • Display at training or workshop events

Audience: Community people, local authority and end-users

Length of the video: Between 4-6 minutes with English subtitles

Actor: Please share how many actors would be included in this video? (to be shared by the film maker vendor in their quotation)

Attachment: Script and quotation (to be shared by the film maker vendor)
