Duties: This position is assigned to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE), Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) at the United States Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. DHS/ICE/ERO is an organization that reflects the international presence for the DHS, responsible for international Immigration law enforcement operations.

The incumbent will serve in a hybrid position serving as the Foreign Service National Investigator (FSN-I), while also providing support services to the ERO Assistant Attaché for Removal (GS-14) in support of the ERO law enforcement mission. The incumbent will provide overall investigative and administrative support functions for DHS/ICE/ERO programs within the DHS/ICE/ERO Assistant Attaché for Removal area of responsibility, which includes, Cambodia, Fiji, French Polynesia, Laos, Nauru, Pitcairn Islands, Solomon Islands, Tonga and Vanuatu. The incumbent functions as the regional ICE/ERO FSN-I, acting as an investigator and liaison to multiple countries through the provision of guidance and the operational execution of the DHS/ICE/ERO immigration law enforcement mission, while also providing a critical operational support function.

The incumbent is responsible for providing assistance with procurement actions, tracking expenditures, payments and funding cables, and monitoring and tracking ICE ERO’s International Cooperative Administrative Support Services (ICASS) budget for ICE/ERO, U.S. Embassy Phnom Penh. Further, the incumbent is responsible for providing direct assistance with managing, implementing, and coordinating ICE/ERO Phnom Penh’s regional footprint.
