Position Summary

Task: Supporting the research and the writing of a book on S-21 by TSGM

Search: International researcher/ writer on KR history (khmer)

Location: Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, Phnom Penh, Cambodia (remotely)

Duration: 1 November 2022 – 31 March 2023

  • Remotely (in total 20 days or 160 hours)

Offer

  • Honorarium: 100-150 USD including VAT per day/ max. 18.75 USD per hour, depending on experience
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the research on history of S-21 done by a team at TSGM
  • Supporting the writing of the chapters, proofreading on content, providing feedback to the team, revising the final version in Khmer of the publication (about 150 pages)
Requirements:
  • Availability 20 days/ 160 hours in the mentioned time frame (remotely)
  • Academic background in History, Anthropology, or related fields
  • Long-term in-depth research practice on Khmer Rouge and Cambodian history
  • Ability to communicate in Khmer and English
  • Keeping internal information confidential
