Marist Solidarity Cambodia (MSC) is an International NGO of the Marist Brothers’ Community and registered in Cambodia. The INGO Manager reports to the Chairperson of the MSC Board of Governance.

MSC’s vision is to remove barriers to the full human development of young Cambodians with a physical disability who are excluded in the rural Provinces from access to education and health services.

Position Summary

The INGO manager has oversight of five co-ordinators whose work is centred on the location of the INGO oIices in Takhmao: Finance, LaValla Primary School and its hostels, LaValla Village hostels for secondary students attending the local high school, a Health and Rehabilitation Centre and a small Province Inclusive Education Outreach. There are 220 students across the projects and an operating budget of $USD 520,000 funded externally as well as a capital grant for $USD 220,000 for refurbishment. Financial oversight is a key element of the job description along with being the executive oIicer to represent MSC to external stakeholders, including funders, for compliance, audit and reporting.

Work History:
  • Pre-requisites include at least managerial experience for 5 years
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • A background in educational management is desirable
  • A tertiary education to Masters level
  • Financial literacy and fluency in written and oral Khmer and English.
Soft Skills
  • An openness is required to working in a faith-based INGO where the values of Christianity and Buddhism are expressed.
