Study title: Coverage and factors associated with usage of topical repellent products for malaria prevention in Pursat, Cambodia
Dates of assignment: June – December 2024
Number of working days*/hours: N/A
Objectives:
The objective of this program evaluation is to determine factors associated with topical repellents products for malaria prevention among forest goers and to find the acceptability and correct usage of topical repellents by forest goers who are traveling to at-risk forest areas for at least one overnight stay as a result of CMEP2 project interventions, as well as testing appropriate SBC messaging.
Hypotheses:
The main hypotheses are that, as a result of CMEP2 SBC efforts: 80% of forest goers passing through a CMEP2-supported forest entry point who indicate that they will spend at least one night in the forest will accept topical repellents and 80% of those who accept topical repellents will correctly use the topical repellents.
