Import Operation Manager
Job Summary:
The Import Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the import process, ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods across international borders. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of import regulations, customs compliance, and supply chain management.

- Manage and oversee the entire import operations process, from order placement to delivery.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any delays or issues.
- Negotiate contracts and rates with vendors, carriers, and service providers.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize import processes and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate records of import transactions, documentation, and compliance reports.
- Stay updated on changes in import regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements.
- Lead and mentor a team of import operations staff, providing guidance and support.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and finance, to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in import operations, international trade, or supply chain management.
- In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, import documentation, and trade compliance.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership experience with a proven ability to manage and develop teams.
OP Export Assistance

- Work with the client to arrange import/ export shipment to meet SOP.
- Update shipment information in the operations system
- Work with the carrier to D/O on time.
- Follow up with the client to get documents to arrange import clearance
- Prepare import/export shipping documents for clearance.
- Work with internal teams (trucking/brokerage) to arrange import/export clearance and on time cargo delivery to door.
- Billing and arranging complete documents for clients on time
- Work with the carrier to get a refund deposit and follow up on empty returns on time.

- Good computer skills (typing, Microsoft Word/Excel)

Operation of Import

- Receive system forecasts or customer bills of lading on time, confirm bills of lading, and avoid changing orders after closing the order
- Check the bill of lading and customs clearance documents in time to avoid changing the documents and making wrong declarations after the goods arrive at the port
- Track/request the invoice for the exchange order on time, enter it into the system to apply for payment from the finance department, and ensure that there are no errors in the input of expenses
- Track payment and exchange orders on time, actively track and urge change D/O, and do not affect the customs clearance speed
- Track returns and container deposits on time
- One year experience in the Logistics industry
- Fast understanding
- Good in English communication (Chinese Priority)
- Good negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as response and Patience.
- Advanced level in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Operation of Export

- According to customers' or leaders' instructions, arrange bookings and track pre-allocations on time to avoid affecting the customer's shipping schedule.
- Timely confirm loading time with customers and request declaration information to avoid delayed arrival of containers and delayed declaration
- Track/request invoices from shipping companies or agents on time, fill them into the system to submit payment from the finance department to ensure that the filled costs are accurate
- Track the payment of the shipping company or agent on time and proactively follow up with the bill of lading
- Actively review the customs declaration information provided by customers, send it to the customs broker on time after its confirmation, and track the customs declaration progress
- Timely track the container's arrival status and customs return information
- Cambodian national, age from 20-30
- Good command of ENGLISH
