Human Resource Coordinator
JOB PURPOSE: Under the guidance of the Human Resources Leadership, the Human Resource Coordinator is responsible for coordinating implementation of HR services, programs and policies for staff throughout assigned AIM programs; assisting and advising employees and leaders about employment issues and HR best practices and to ensure the compliance with applicable labor laws, policies, and AIM’s vision, mission and values.
Key Relationships:
Reports to: Manager Human Resource.
Direct Reports: N/A.
Job employment terms/benefits:
- 45hrs/week. Typically, from Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. but some weekends, holidays, and evenings may be required.
- Includes health insurance for employee and immediate family.

- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
- Provide human resource services to programs, including staffing, employment processing, compensation, and benefits.
- Develop and provide training and development to employees. Communicate on AIM policies, employee benefits programs. Assist with translation as needed.
- In coordination with HR Coordinator, actively involved in the recruitment process. Including using suitable marketing tools for job advertisement.
- Assists with developing human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information, providing reports, recommending courses of action.
- Assist leadership in administering employee compensation and benefits.
- Working with leadership, document performance and disciplinary issues.
- Assist with investigations as assigned by HR leadership.
- Provide feedback/report to HR and departmental management regarding issues revealed in investigations
- Maintain organized and up-to-date of employee records and documentation according to HR best practices, AIM policy, and legal requirements.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

- Education and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Law, Business Administration, Economics or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Experience: 2 – years of proven professional experience in legal environment, employee relation, human resource related role.
- Dealing with grievance and complaints preferred.
- Compensation & benefits or IT experience preferred.
- Intermediatelevel experience with Microsoft Excel preferred.
- Other requirements:
- No criminal record.
- An active member of a local Christian church.
- Pastor’s reference.
