Hotel Chief Engineering (1 Position)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Hotel Chief Engineering who is responsible for MEP Department at SGC. Hotel Chief Engineering is Responsible to manage all aspects of maintenance staff on a daily basis. Directs, coordinates and performs routine, preventive and emergency interior / exterior maintenance and repairs to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of hotel operations. Directs the Engineering staff, accounting/budgetingasset protection, inventory control and human resources.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Familiar and complies with the hotels mission and standards in performing maintenance activities.
  • Maximize maintenance team potential with a balanced focus on operations, guests, employee and owners satisfaction.
  • Priorities, plan, schedule assign and supervise the engineering department staff.
  • Oversee the maintenance tasks, work orders and special projects ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Respond to guest's maintenance needs promptly and ensure guests receive professional, efficient prompt and courteous service to hotel standards.
  • Maintain the physical appearance and operational efficiency of the hotel including physical. mechanical, electrical, plumbing etc.
  • Installation & maintenance of all equipment related to HVAC, DG Sets, Water treatment, Fire Safety etc.
  • Ensure proper records are kept relating to all plant and equipment for the hotel including repair and service records.
  • Prepare reports as required by General Manager/COO.
  • Ensure that stores have adequate stocks of materials, equipment and tools and are kept in a clean and safe environment.
  • Take responsibility for the cleanliness and safety aspects of all plant and mechanical equipment rooms.
  • Ensure the proper use and periodic maintenance of all equipment.
  • Perform daily and weekly property document inspections.
  • Ensure property, grounds, physical plant and work areas are maintained to standard and that all safety equipment and conditions are to code.
  • Establish and maintain department equipment and supply inventory levels appropriate to property requirements
  • Provide training to staff on supplies, inventory, maintenance and ordering procedures.
  • Train engineering department staff on correct maintenance procedures and assists in repairs as needed.
  • Maintain, monitor and test hotel's emergency and security systems, features like Fire Alarm, baggage scanners etc.
  • Discuss with GM / Owner / Department heads on maintenance status and inspection reports.
  • Respond to corporate and management inquires.
  • Develop, implement, and direct all emergency programs.
  • Develop, implement and manage energy conservation programs for the property to minimize expenses.
  • Ensure maintenance staff is wearing proper uniforms with name tag and upholds hotels grooming and hygiene standards.
  • Responsible for quality service, meeting/exceeding financial goals, short and long term planning and day-to-day operations.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor of science, Diploma, or college degree in Electrical or Civil engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience and manager experience in engineering hotel department.
  • Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power point), Drawing software, PLC, and control system
  • Skill in implementation of Preventive Maintenance Program

MEP Head Engineer (1 Position)

Position Summary

We are seeking a MEP head Engineer who is responsible for MEP Department at SGC. MEP head Engineer is responsible for overall management and success of high-end, fast tract interior fit outs, renovations and maintenance and construction projects: quality, client satisfaction and profitability goals.

REPORT TO : Chief Operation Officer/ Executive Director

FUNCTION : MEP Department

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Direct and oversee all building maintenance and operations.
  • Direct and maintain an effective operation and general maintenance program with accurate, up-to-date records including, but not limited to HVAC, MEP, electrical and plumbing.
  • Train engineering staff, including but not limited to building systems, equipment function and purpose, operation and maintenance procedures and Hines Efficient Practices.
  • Maintain current and historical preventive maintenance and repair records on all mechanical equipment.
  • Establish and implement prompt and courteous response to tenant requests within the guidelines set for by SGC.
  • Maintain ethical, professional, and courteous relations with contractors and tenants.
  • Establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with the entire operation staff and perform as a team member.
  • Monitor and approve engineering personnel time sheets.
  • Actively participate in required training activities and seminars.
  • Establish inventory control programs with appropriate parts stocking levels with accurate and timely records of receipts and issues.
  • Provide engineering staff with correct equipment, tools, and training as appropriate to the property.
  • Develop long-term strategic plans and forecasting for the property.
  • Evaluate and counsel engineering staff on performance.
  • Provide staff leadership, counseling, training, and staff scheduling.
  • Prepare annual budget proposal and monitor and explain variances from approved budget to actual expenses/income.
  • Establish vision and goals for the engineering department personnel.
  • Test, maintain, and keep records to ensure emergency equipment in good working order.
  • Initiate any necessary insurance claims on HVAC and other central plant equipment.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and monitor mechanical contractors.
  • Maintain and update blueprint and equipment operations and maintenance information organization.
  • Monitor building energy use, produces reports, proposals, and maintains energy management programs.
  • Oversee tenant construction to ensure building integrity.
  • Maintain required OSHA and Worker's Compensation safety and accident reports on engineering personnel and facilities.

  • Bachelor's Degree in mechanical and electrical engineering from a recognized university or polytechnic or equivalent qualification
  • Min. 5 years' experience in handling mechanical engineering team at supervisory within manufacturing industry

Cattle Supervisor (1 Position)

Position Summary

We are seeking a cattle Supervisor who is responsible for Agriculture Department at SGC. he will work as Cattle Supervisor primary role is to ensure the whole cattle production are free from Disease and having enough feed stock as well as medicine, cleanliness of the whole area production. Respect to Biosecurity of the animal care. He or She will work in the Cattle production to ensure they are healthy and productivity.

FUNCTION : Agriculture Department

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Cattle Supervisor role includes operational responsibilities, under the direct management of Agriculture Head Department. will be directly responsible for Agriculture head department’s queries, demands, reports and other assigned tasks.

  • Make a cattle reproduction plan
  • Examine animals and check their health status
  • Diagnose illnesses and determine the best treatment
  • Vaccinate animals to prevent diseases
  • Keeping track of the growth and well-being of Cattle
  • Work together with Manager to make sure quality is good for the market demand
  • Lead and prescribe treatment process
  • Communicate and connect with other internal and external partner/stake holder effectively with respectful manor as the representative of SGC member.

  • Assist SGC journey with AFP (Agriculture Family Project) by providing technical to Pig and Chicken Production, with practice carefully of Biosecurity from each animal lineReport to Agriculture Manager
Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Field Work:
  • Manage and lead team to ensure the teams work and operate effectively and efficiently
  • Manage and Monitor team’s performance and productivity on daily basis
  • Supervise, motivate and lead cattle team to achieve target
  • Working as administration for control materials and resources for cattle production and make sure all of them have been maintenance and enough par stock.
  • Keep proactive on every activity at the cattle field and report to manager promptly
  • Think ahead and being protected if imaginable case
  • Sharing problem observation with solutions/suggestion
  • Human Resource Management and Administration:
  • Conduct and support capacity building, coaching and performance monitoring Staff
  • Participant with Head department to conduct supervision meeting and staff performance appraisals
  • Work with head department to conduct training for subordinate staff related to technique and other relevant business topic
  • Attend the bi-weekly meeting and other assign meeting
  • Arrange monthly request to ensure that material and other supplies are regularly in stocked
  • Report to Head department of Agriculture related to relevant work that assign
  • Respectful and good behavior to every level of staff member, local or expatriate
  • Accept and openminded to new process or way of doing things
  • Make sure department roster, leave and day off up to date and submit to Manager
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor degree related to Animal Science
  • At least 3 years experiences as Veterinarian, Veterinary Technician or Veterinarian Assistant, especially in Cattle production
  • Knowledge of medical & equipment
  • Patience and a love for animals
  • Availability to take evening or weekend shifts in cases of emergency
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good in English language (written and verbally)
  • Good at mentor/training and presentation
  • Fluent at using computer Microsoft word/excel, email and PowerPoint
