JOB SUMMARY
Head of Finance and Accounting is responsible for managing and overseeing the Finance and Accounting department and take lead in funding and strategies. His/her main responsibilities are to lead and provide guidance/direction to the effectiveness and efficiency of the operations within the department and support the strategic plans for the company to ensure the financial healthy of the company for the sustainable growth.

- Establish and/or review accounting and finance policies and procedures, and ensure the correct application of the policies;
- Join support and provide recommendation on applicable strategies to CEO and management to meet the company’s mission and vision;
- Driving Financial Operation and Direction
- Drive the company financial plan;
- Prepare monthly financial report punctually and report to CEO;
- Keep updated and/or reviewed internal procedures to finance and accounting staff through new minutes of management meeting (if any);
- Take lead in creditor exploring and diversify funding channels with banks and other financial institutions;
- Recommend the management on funding strategies;
- Prepare and/or review cash/fund flow budget, and work with concern parties to make sure the sufficient funds for daily operations;
- Prepare reports to creditors;
- Review and verify monthly and annual financial reports, key financial highlights, cash/fund flow comparison and provide recommendations to CEO periodically;
- Prepare financial analysis to CEO and recommend for improvement and corrective actions;
- Consolidate and monitor budget for the company;
- Support the system implementation and improvement;
- Final review on cash and bank reconciliation performed by AR and AP team;
- Reguarly review and monitor cash and bank balances and manage to save the interest expenses and maximise the use of funds available;
- Taxations
- Handle taxation issues and ensure that the taxation is clean and well prepared in advance;
- Strategize to mitigate tax expenses at the minimum level and safety for the company;
- Oversea Finance and Accounting department, including taxation, to ensure proper functions and communication across departments;
- Review monthly and annual tax return before submitting to GDT;
- Work with tax team to improve internal tax system preparation and compliance with tax laws and regulations;
- People Management and Leadership
- Develop performance measrement, reporting criteria, and ensure these metrics are achieved;
- Motivate a high performance, innovative and results-driven organization;
- Lead team to encourage maximum performance and dedication;
- Lead monthly department meeting and provide recommendations and/or solutions for issues or bring to senior management meeting for issues that cannot be solved at department level;
- Support team for matters related to daily operations and cross-department communication;
- Regularly review staff performance and provide feedback for improvements;
- Provide coaching, on-job training and other required training to Finance and Accounitng staff and other departments (if needed);
- Others task assigned by Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
- Master’s degree, major in accounting and finance is preferred;
- Pursuing ACCA or having completed CAT is a plus;
- Minimum of 7 years’ working experiences in Finance and Accounting Management;
- Prior experience with ERP System is preferred;
- Advanced in Ms. Excel is preferred;
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills;
- Ability to strategize and solve problems;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Strong presentation, written communications, and report-writing skills in English and Khmer.
