Head of Education
As a Head of Education, you will play a particular critical role in implementing a range of activities related to all teachers and students management as well as maintaining strong relationship with all related ministries, NGOs and funding partners.
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. You are highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic, commitment to continuous improvement, openness to new ideas and creative approaches to problem solving.
- Managing the entire education team, teachers and students.
- Managing student recruitments.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with related ministries and stakeholders.
- Managing all administrative work with all related ministries.
- Khmer national
- An advanced degree in Education or a similar field and/or at least 5 years of experience that includes teaching, education program management and digital learning
- Excellent English and Khmer (oral and written), presentation and speaking skills
- Experience in learning and assessment design, teaching, digital pedagogies and educational innovation
- Knowledge in development of student-centered learning experiences and resources, including delivery of training
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive)
- A team player who possess strong management skills, good interpersonal skills, confidence and maturity to interact effectively with all levels of staff and stakeholders.
English Language Teachers
The position is for Native Speaker
- Plan, develop and deliver courses based on the school’s ASEAN curriculum for tourism professionals.
- Assist with alignment of assessment, learning objectives and instructional strategies.
- Prepare instructional material including audio-visual presentations.
- Initiate and design additional materials to supplement other programs.
- Prepare and set exams; provide constructive feedback on oral and written work.
- Collaborate with a team of specialty teachers and regularly review student achievement.
- Nurture a student-centered learning environment.
- Establish and maintain a classroom environment that promotes a high level of respect for others, personal accountability, and academic achievement.
- Produce semester reports on student achievement and progress.
- Attend meetings and participate in school events (open house days, career fair, admission sessions etc.).
- Minimum of Bachelor degree and TEFL certificate (preference given to CELTA or Trinity TESOL)
- Minimum 3 years full time experience in adult ESL teaching
- Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment; positive attitude and work ethic; well groomed.
- Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills.
- Computer literacy and use of modern technology is a must
- Experience in the hospitality or tourism industry is an advantage.
- Adhere to the ethical teaching practices as set by the school policy.
