Position Summary

This position will frequent travel

Duration: Initial two-years contract (renewable)

Reporting to: Head of Programme

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Gender, Public Administration/Policy or other relevant qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of or experience in working with INGO/NGO on gender and public services and/or the implementation of social accountability framewor
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in working with diverse youth groups and gender equity
  • Experience in partnership and grant management
  • Proven experience of advocacy work at the national and/or subnational levels
  • Experience in communications and/or campaigns
  • Demonstrable experience in M&E and project report writing
  • Experience of coordinating/facilitating networks, coalitions and youth groups
  • Excellent understanding and analysis of Social Media and its use in campaigns
  • Sound knowledge of national and international policies, frameworks and laws related to GRPS and the implementation of social accountability framework including one-window service
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Research, policy analysis and critical thinking
  • Computer literacy (Ms Office)
