Gender Program Manager
Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia (with frequent visits to the field)
Reporting to: Executive Director
Position Overview
A crucial aspect of Gender Program Manager’s role is to manage, develop, and oversee the Gender Program contributing toward an inclusive gender justice society. The position will be leading and overseeing exciting gender initiatives related to gender responsive mediation, GBV prevention, women’s empowerment and leadership, GEDSI inclusion, men engagement, and other policy and public engagement related interventions. The Gender Program Manager will serve as a member of the leadership team and support the work of WPM towards achieving its core mission and in becoming a leading voice in the areas of gender and peace.
- Program Leadership Responsibilities
- Ensure the effective and timely implementation of gender program, including providing training, facilitation, and coaching to the targets, in line with the strategic objectives, logframe, work plan and within the budget approved
- Involved in problem solving and consultation of emerging issues that organization and communities face
- Ensure that all program activities implemented within its scope of responsibility, including project expenditures, are transparent and made in accordance to WPM’s policies and in compliance with donor guidelines and requirements.
- Co-design and develop actions, initiatives, etc. including the proposal writing related to gender and women’s issues.
- Monitoring and Reporting Responsibilities
- Regularly monitor project/program progress and activities, to ensure that quality data is collected and relevant information for reporting analyzed accordingly
- Ensure project reports are produced and submitted on time
- Effectively and efficiently implement MEL system in accordance with WPM and donors requirements.
- Facilitation and Documentation Responsibilities
- Prepare, design, organize and facilitate skills training workshops on, such as, gender, feminism, gender sensitive mediation, legal and policy related knowledge, feminist leadership, diversity and identity issues, and related topics and meetings within and outside of Phnom Penh.
- Document and formulate creative and effective ways to present the programming results to target audiences
- Properly file and keep related project documentation in a chronological and easy-to-find system
- Partnership and Communication duties
- Maintain good relation with donors, partners, and target communities/ audiences to ensure that the project and WPM activities are running smoothly.
- Represent WPM in both national and international workshop, conference, meeting, and networking events.
- Other duties
- Resourcefully solves identified problems by implementing creative solutions as part of the management committee members.
- Work with and build team spirit to ensure programs operate effectively

- Understanding of and passionate about feminism and feminist principles
- Hold a MA in related fields and knowledge in gender studies and law is a plus
- At least 5 years of related project management and leadership experience and equipped with excellent training, coaching, and facilitation skills related to women’s rights, legal/policy, feminism, leadership, mediation, and/or relevant topics
- Experience in managing others, including staff and/or volunteers, to carry out a project
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated skills in strategic planning, budgeting and donor relations
- Well-developed written and spoken communication skills
- Ability to work with a team as well as individually without much supervision
- Be a proactive fast learner and able to travel to the field and learn new things
- Demonstrated leadership ability, flexibility, and creative problem -solving skills
- Personable, with an excellent attitude and strong people skills

Gender Project Coordinator

Position Overview
The Project coordinator works closely with the Gender Program Manager to effectively and efficiently deliver outcomes and results of gender projects and serve as an effective gender team player to support the work of WPM towards achieving its core mission and in becoming a leading voice in the areas of gender and peace.
- Project Coordination and Implementation Responsibilities
- Ensure the effective and timely implementation of the assigned project activities including providing training, facilitation, and coaching to the targets, etc. in line with the strategic objectives, logframe, work plan and within the project budget approved
- Ensure that all project activities implemented within its scope of responsibility, including project expenditures, are transparent and made in accordance to WPM’s policies and in compliance with donor guidelines and requirements.
- Provide support to Gender Program’s related activity implementation
- Contribute to problem-solving and provide consultation on emerging issues faced by the project and communities
- Monitoring and Reporting Responsibilities
- Regularly monitor project activities, projects’ M&E system, ensuring that quality data and relevant information are collected for reporting
- Ensure project reports are produced with quality and submitted on time
- Track and analyze projects’ performance, expenditures, procurement, and report about any possible or current blockers or risks
- Properly file and maintain project documentation in an organized system.
- Track and analyze the changes project scope, project schedule, project cost, and able to suggest the improvements to all the above
- Facilitation, Documentation, Communication and Partnership Responsibilities
- Co-lead the development of training curriculum, session planning, and training manuals for the project
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and formulate creative and effective ways to present the project results to target audiences
- Document and follow up on important actions and decisions made during meetings and other project-related gatherings.
- Maintain good relationships with donors, partners, WPM networks, and target communities/audiences to ensure smooth project and WPM activities.
- Represent WPM in national and international workshops, conferences, meetings, and networking events.
- Support WPM networks, such as WWLN, Asia Feminist Coaliation, etc., in gender program to ensure their activeness, growth and sustainability
- Other duties
- Provide translation and administrative support as needed by the projects
- Work with and build team spirit to ensure effective and positive workplace and culture
- Keep herself updated and well-aware of work-related news, concepts, policy, and other information through reading, listening, and meeting with relevant people.
- Perform other tasks as required by the Leadership Team
- Be passionate about gender, feminism, and women’s issues
- At least two years of experience in gender related project coordination or management
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Khmer
- Experience in delivering training and facilitation at various levels
- Experience working with youth, especially adolescent girls and young women
- Be proactive in anticipating priorities without direct supervision
- Basic budgeting skills and understanding of budget management
- Good organizational skills, reporting and writing skills, and effective data-gathering skills
- Good interpersonal skills and self-confidence to ensure effective communication and representation of WPM in diverse audiences and settings
- Good understanding of basic M&E concepts, results-based and rights-based framework
- Personable, with an excellent attitude and strong people skills
- Demonstrate a quality as a team player and be able to work independently
- Ability to multitask and willingness to travel

Peace Program Officer
Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia (with frequent visits to the field)
Reporting to: Peace Program Manager
Purpose:
The Peace Program Officer will work together with Peace Program Team to support the implementation of peace program focusing on conflict transformation, peace education peer mediation, interethnic peacebuilding, freedom of religious and belief, women peace and security, as well as serve as an effective peace team player to support the work of WPM towards achieving its core mission and in becoming a leading voice in the areas of gender and peace.
- Programming Support Responsibilities
- Work with Peace Program Manager and other Team Members in peace program to ensure the effective and timely implementation of all activities, including providing training, facilitation, and coaching to the targets, in line with the strategic objectives, logframe, work plan and within the budget approved
- Involved in problem solving and consultation of emerging issues that organization and communities face
- Ensure that all activities implemented within its scope of responsibility, including project expenditures, are transparent and made in accordance to WPM's policies and in compliance with donor guidelines and requirements. These are included, but not limited to:
- Harmony of Faiths Project:
- Assist arrangement to develop training materials
- Coordinate with team and partners in conducting FoRB awareness-raising workshop with key national stakeholders
- Work closely with youth networks to conduct 4 interfaith/FoRB Cafe for youth 'FoRB Champions' along with other youths
- Collaborate with team and youth networks in conducting in-house training series and interreligious/interethnic youth training series in interreligious/ other ethnic communities
- Provide orientation on the implementation of small grants to the 'FoRB champions' for FoRB promotion actions.
- Other peace projects (Voice of Legacy, Seeds of Peace, and Women Peace and Security):
- Support the project team members in conducting training and other project related activities
- Assist in logistic/financial arrangement for team activities
- Assist the Project Coordinator and Program Manager in drafting report
- Assist the arrangement for publication and distribution of the IEC materials
- Monitoring and Reporting Responsibilities
- Assist collecting and keeping necessary and sufficient data and relevant information to support the monitoring of project progress and activities and to support for project reporting
- Assist doing activity or field reports/meeting minutes to support the financial clearance of the expense of the implemented activities.
- Facilitation and Documentation Responsibilities
- Assist project coordinator and program manager in preparing and facilitating skills training workshops, such as, on conflict transformation, conflict resolution skills, peacebuilding, gender, feminism, , and related topics and meetings within and outside of Phnom Penh.
- Partnership and Communication duties
- Maintain good relationship with target communities/ audiences to ensure that the project and WPM activities are running smoothly.
- Support WPM networks in peace program to ensure their activeness, growth and sustainability.
- Represent WPM in both national and international workshop, conference, meeting, and networking events.

- Understanding of and passionate about conflict transformation, inter-ethnic, and interfaith peacebuilding and gender equality
- Hold a BA in social related studies, and knowledge in gender, inter-ethnic issues, conflict resolution and peacebuilding are a plus
- Have at least 1 year experience with project implementation in the field of peacebuilding and conflict resolution is a plus
- Have good teamwork skills or the ability to work with others in achieving collective goals
- Well-developed written and spoken communication skills
- Be a proactive fast learner and willing to learn new skills and knowledge
- Ability and willingness to travel to the field provinces
- Demonstrated leadership ability, flexibility, and creative problem solving skills
