Freight Manager

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • To manage and be accountable to the Group COO for the management and operations of the Cambodia Air and Ocean freight division.
  • To be entrusted with the P&L and as such the ability to drive the team sales development is paramount aside from the company’s other businesses.
  • To be able to site new areas of growth and expand the business portfolio of the company
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • University/Professional Logistics qualification
  • About 8 years experience in Freight/Logistics organization. Strong background in seafreight/airfreight operations
  • Familiar with logistics solutions is required
  • Sound knowledge of Import & Export customs procedure
  • Sound knowledge of projects logistics is a strong plus.
  • Solutions selling mindset towards business development.
  • Dynamic, enterprising, resourceful with strong contact base with customers and carriers
  • University or professional logistics qualification
  • Results driven as he/she will eventually have P&L responsibilities
  • Highly likely the successful candidate does not exceed 35 years of age
 
 

Customer Service and Operations Executive

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate with regional offices and overseas agents on enquiries and nomination
  • Handle sea import, export, transshipment and cross-trade enquiries
  • Prepare quotations for local customer and overseas offices and agents
  • Source and negotiate freight rates with carrier and coloader
  • Liaise with customers on shipments, delivery and collection
  • Prepare full spectrum of shipping documents such as arrival notice, pre-alert, B/L and invoices etc
  • Proficient in using tradenet for permit declaration
  • Must be able to read and write Chinese (in order to communicate with our China agents)

  • 2 year experience
  • Diploma/Professional Logistics qualification
 
 

Accounts Executive

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Maintain full sets of accounts (include month end closing journals) using our company freight software – CargowiseOne
  • Prepare monthly tax and annual tax return
  • Liase with Operations on day to day accounting and office administrative issues
  • Follow up closely with customers on AR collections
  • Prepare bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts
  • Ensure timely and accurate closing of monthly accounts with supporting schedules
  • Prepare monthly payroll
  • Responsible for office admin matters
  • Ensure that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained and suggest improvements
  • Liase with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers, relevant government and regulatory agencies
  • Any other related ad hoc duties assigned
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Minimum Degree qualification in accounting
  • Minimum 3 years experience in full sets of accounts/GL preferred
  • Experience in freight/logistics industry will be viewed more favorably
  • Good command in English (written and spoken)
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Words and Excel
  • Keen learner with positive attitude to take on challenges
  • Meticulous and detailed individual
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Takes initiative and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate leadership, good attention to details, good judgement showing logical decision making, problem solving and hands on approach
