Finance & Accounting Department
Duties & Responsibilities:
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – (KEY ACTIVITIES)
- Full-Spectrum Financial Management
- Oversees all financial operations including payment processing, vouchers, invoicing, payroll, and costing.
- Ensures accurate and timely posting of financial data into Excel and QuickBooks.
- Compliance and Regulatory Responsibility
- Prepares and submits tax documents, financial statements, and other required filings to ACAR, GDT, MoC, and MoL.
- Coordinates with agencies on VAT, Withholding Tax, Profit Tax, and other compliance areas to secure incentives or exemptions.
- Internal and External Reporting
- Prepares monthly and annual financial statements, cash flow reports, and forecasting reports (FC4+8, FC8+4) for Fuchs Gruppe.
- Reconciles shipping volume, cash count, stock control, and inventory for audit and transparency.
- Payroll and Staff Payment Administration
- Manages monthly salary transfers, pension contributions, and seniority payments via internet banking.
- Ensures proper documentation and timely distribution of employee compensation.
- Strategic Financial Oversight
- Advises the CEO on pepper market trends, costing, and investment planning.
- Provides financial analysis to support contract reviews, budgeting, and risk assessment.
- Coordination with Other Departments
- Works closely with accountants at the warehouse for payment and inventory control.
- Update quotation/offering to client, reviewing contracts, and managing email domains.
- Coordinate to submit the annual carbon footprint to Fuchs Gruppe
- Audit and Licensing Management
- Prepares all supporting documents for annual audits.
- Oversees business license renewals, patent registrations, and document retention across branches.
- System & Record Maintenance
- Ensures all financial records are complete, accurate, and filed in compliance with tax law.
- Maintains updated fixed asset lists and ensures records align with inventory movements.
- General
- Prepare documents for any expenses and income to be proper and comply tax. Posting every data to the QuickBooks system to ensure everything is in balance and release monthly financial statement.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Professional Certification: Preference for candidates with certifications such as ACCA or CPA, given the focus on ACAR, GDT, and international reporting standards.
- Experience: Senior-level experience in financial management, preferably within the agricultural, manufacturing, or export sectors.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in QuickBooks and Excel for accurate data posting and financial balancing.
- Tax & Regulatory Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Cambodian tax laws (VAT, Withholding Tax, Profit Tax) and filing procedures for ACAR, MoC, and MoL.
- Reporting Standards: Ability to prepare complex financial statements, cash flow reports, and specific forecasting models (such as FC4+8 and FC8+4).
- Payroll & Banking: Experience managing payroll, pension contributions, and seniority payments through internet banking systems.
- Audit Readiness: Strong capability in preparing documentation for annual audits and ensuring all records comply with tax laws.
- Inventory & Costing: Skills in stock control, inventory reconciliation, and financial costing, particularly related to the pepper market.
- Strategic Advisory: Ability to analyze market trends and provide investment planning advice to the CEO.
- Sustainability Reporting: Familiarity with or ability to coordinate annual carbon footprint data submission.
Soft Skills
- Attention to Detail: Must ensure all vouchers, invoices, and financial data are balanced and accurate.
- Communication: Strong coordination skills to work with warehouse accountants, external agencies, and the global Fuchs Gruppe.
- Administrative Oversight: Capacity to manage business license renewals, patent registrations, and document retention across multiple branches.
