Announcement Description

Initially established in 1996 as a project of International HIV/AIDS Alliance, KHANA has started operating as an NGO in 1997 and was officially registered as a local NGO in 2000. Since then, it has been operating as a linking organization (LO) of the International HIV/AIDS Alliance which is now known as the Frontline AIDS. KHANA is one of the leading non-governmental organizations in Cambodia that has made critical contributions to the national HIV and TB responses and other health and development related services to key, vulnerable and underserved populations in Cambodia. KHANA’s work has been made possible through financial supports from The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM), The L’Initiative, The Stop TB Partnership/UNOPS, Gavi, the US DOS/EpiC, and The Frontline AIDS.

Finance and Operation Officer

Position Summary

The position is for Global Health Security (GHS)/H5N1 Project

The postholder will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the project teams in relation to the budget planning, implementing, and reporting in accordance with KHANA’s policies and donors’ compliance under the GHS/H5N1 project.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and support the project teams in relation to the budget planning, implementing, and reporting in accordance with KHANA’s policies and donors’ compliance.
  • Work to ensure KHANA’s bank transactions are properly maintained and recorded in the accounting books. Support the payment processing in full compliance with KHANA internal policies and donor requirements.
  • Work with project staff under the Global Health Security/H5N1 project at both KHANA and field levels for daily transactions, budget, and monthly reports, including the financial-related supporting documents. Be representative of KHANA staff for the TB project
Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance
Work History:
  • Experience in accounting or finance for 3 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Computer literacy, particularly in the use of Excel spreadsheets or Sun Accounting System
 
 

GHS/H5N1 Provincial Facilitator (9 Positions)

Position Summary

The position is for Global Health Security/H5N1 Project

Location: Various Provinces such as Kampong Cham (1 post), Kampong Speu (1 post), Kampot (1 post), Kratie (1 post), Prey Veng (1 post), Tboung Khmum (1 post), Siem Reap (1 post), Svay Rieng (1 post), and Takeo (1 post)

Key Responsibilities:

The postholder will be responsible for facilitating the project activities under the Global Health Security (GHS)/H5N1 project in the targeted provinces under the direction and guidance from the Project Officers and Technical Officer: GHS/H5N1 at the KHANA main office.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the project activities at the subnational levels through working with the provincial health departments, the operational health districts, and health centres to contribute to and support the H5N1 responses and efforts.
  • Deliver the project interventions, such as risk communication and community engagement, evidence-based messaging and community engagement, community feedback and reporting, and supporting the work of OneHealth Sub-National Working Groups.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in any of the following disciplines: public health, sociology, or other related fields.
Work History:
  • Experiences on to HIV, TB, SHR, COVID-19, public health, or other health-related issues for 1 year
Skills & Knowledge:
Soft Skills
  • High level of commitment, especially when working under pressure.
