Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated Finance and Admin Manager (FAM) to manage accounting, finance, admin and HR in Phnom Penh. We provide reliable and affordable solar powered irrigation service to smallholder farmers. The FAM holds a pivotal role in the Pteah Baitong, overseeing accounting, financial, administrative and HR functions.

Contract: Fixed Term Contract with a 12 month renewable term.

Salary: To be negotiated according to experience

Other Employment Benefits : 13th month, Seniority, NSSF, insurance package.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Accounting: Responsible for the accurate financial reporting for the entity on a monthly and yearly basis, audit of the entity’s yearly financial statements and tax submissions to the relevant authorities (monthly and annual tax declaration).
  • Finance: Presentation of the monthly and yearly financial reports and any additional reports as requested by Management on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Budget Forecasting: Prepare the yearly budget and monthly budget forecasting in collaboration with Managing Director.
  • Collaboration with HQ: Liaise with HQ and investors on reporting matters, document checking, processes, and possibly funders audits.
  • Administrative Duties: Responsible for all administrative tasks which are required by Cambodian law. These duties includes, amongst others, HR related matters, company registration, taxes, NSSF etc.
  • Human Resource Duties: Complete all payroll functions including Labor distributions and applicable staff deductions.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Education and Experience requested
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or its related fields
  • At least three years as Financial and Administration Manager or a related post.
  • Experience working with an Accounting software, QuickBooks or other related Management Information Systems
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Personal Qualities:
  • IT: Advanced understanding of the Microsoft Office Suites- especially Excel and Word. Knowledge of an MIS utility.
  • Languages: Khmer and English language skills for writing and speaking are a must.
  • Reliable and be able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Interpersonal qualities: team spirit, honesty, willingness to improve his/her own skills & have flexibility.
  • Able to work in a multicultural team.
