Assignment and Objectives
Assignment
SmartAgro is seeking a technical field staff to provide technical assistance to farmers on Conservation Agriculture and horticulture and boost sales of cover crops as well as organic inputs and to facilitate our marketing operations and field events. In this role, he/she will plan events in the provinces and facilitate to implement them and complete monthly sales reports. Moreover, he/she will build customer relations and deal with marketing operations.
The assignment will start as soon as possible.
Objective
Provide TA to clients, manage operations and increase sales, smooth performance and good relations with clients and partner organisations.
Deliverables
- Weekly update and Monthly work plan
- Monthly progress report
Remuneration
Negotiable base on qualification. 5% salary increase per year. The applicant will be hired by SA according to regulations that will be specified in a separate contract.
- Scope of Work
- Task 1: Managing sales strategy, launching products on the market and contacting new depots, ACs, and other potential clients.
- Task 2: Managing customer relations and compiling monthly sales reports.
- Task 3: Coordinating activities with partner organisations and government institutions.
- Task 4: Providing technical assistance to clients and farmers in the field.
- Khmer - Good
- English - Good
- Bachelor's Degree in agriculture or related fields.
- Good understanding of agriculture context in Cambodia is preferred
- Good communication skills in Khmer and English
- Computer literacy especially on Google platforms.
- Be responsible and detail oriented.
- Be precise in reporting.
- Personal connections to provincial Unions of Agricultural Cooperatives is a plus.
