Field Supervisor (4 Positions)
Currently, CAPRED is recruiting four part-time qualified field supervisors to support its Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) unit to collect data for baseline and other studies and conduct data entry into a statistics software.

Location: Phnom Penh and Provinces
Period of Assignment: One Year
Duration: January 2024 - December 2024

Position Summary
Prospective job holders will support the MERL unit to complete CAPRED program baseline, data collection, data checking, and data verification.
Please Note: This is a long – term, part – time position with attractive remuneration daily package being commensurate with CAPRED’s policy. Contracted on a one-year contract, the job holders will perform his/her services based on specific study requirements and it is expected that the number of working days for this service could be up to 130 days per year.
- Leadership
- To actively participate in trainings on data collection
- To lead a field test of the questionnaire after the training workshop on data collection and provide feedback to MERL Unit to ensure the effectiveness of the questionnaire
- To lead a team of enumerators to collect quantitative data and/or qualitative data for the study to be conducted by MERL Unit
- To develop a data collection plan
- Assign tasks for enumerators to make appointments with respondents or relevant stakeholders if required before and during data collection
- To facilitate with local authorities and ensure that the field data collection runs smoothly
- To lead teams of enumerators and divide tasks for data entry
- To lead enumerators team to transcribe interview notes based on need
- To monitor & spot-check the administering of questionnaires by enumerators
- To ensure that all respondents feel comfortable and respected during the interview, which will be conducted in appropriate locations and at appropriate times of day.
- To ensure that all questionnaires submitted on the day of the interview for mobile data collection and/or paper-based questionnaires are checked. If any information is missing in a saved offline questionnaire, the supervisor or enumerator must submit it online the next day.
- To ensure that all respondents feel comfortable and respected during the interview, which will be conducted in appropriate locations and at appropriate times of day.
- To lead the daily reflection meeting with enumerators to update on the daily achievement and challenges of data collection and report on the daily achievement to MERL Unit
- Technical
- To check and verify daily data submitted by each enumerator daily to ensure the completeness of the data
- To organise the associated materials for data collection such as paper-based questionnaires, tablets, extension cords, and voice recorders, etc before and after the fieldwork
- To clean and validate the data provided by the MERL unit if the data collection is a real-time data collection by using a tablet or offline data entry systems
- To work collaboratively with MERL unit of CAPRED for other associated tasks.
- Compliance
- Job holders will operate within Cowater and DFAT-related codes of conduct and policies including all inclusion-related policies such as Child Protection and PSEAH; antifraud and corruption; value for money and other policies.
- Commitment to championing environmental sustainability and climate action across the Facility.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in community development, agriculture, Agri-business, food processing, water and energy, business administration, and/or social work.
- Demonstrate at least three years of experience in data collection both quantitative and qualitative, and number of experiences (several tasks) in supervising field data collection
- Have experience in managing and conducting data collection on Agriculture, water and/or energy
- Experience in using a tablet for data collection and monitoring the mobile data collection process.
- Experience in data entry
- Experience in transcribing and summary of qualitative interviews (FGD, KII and IDI)
- Experience in producing a field summary report
- Good knowledge of computer software such as Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, and E-mail
- Good communication and interpersonal and facilitation skills
Field Enumerator (16 Positions)
Currently, CAPRED is recruiting 16 part-time field enumerators to support its Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) unit to collect data for baseline and other studies and conduct data entry into a statistics software.

Position Summary

- To actively participate in a training workshop on how to administer survey questionnaires and the data collection ethics
- To test the questionnaires after each training workshop and provide feedback for questionnaire improvement
- Make an appointment and inform respondents based on a data collection schedule
- To conduct interviews based on the nature of the study design
- To work collaboratively with other data collection team members to undertake a face-to-face interview or online interview with identified survey respondents
- To make respondents feel comfortable and respected during the interview, which will be conducted in appropriate locations and at appropriate times of day.
- To gather evidence (photos, shoot videos, or voice recordings) of interviews for documentation as necessary
- To actively participate in daily meetings and evaluate daily achievements and work in a collaborative way to solve any problems both during and after interviews
- To work collaboratively with field supervisors and CAPRED MERL unit to ensure the accuracy of data collection and data entry
- To organise the associated materials for data collection such as paper-based questionnaires, tablets, extension cords, and voice recorders, etc before and after the fieldwork
- Compliance

- Experienced using a tablet for data collection is an advantage
- Good knowledge of basic computer software such as Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, and E-mail
