Announcement Positions

Field Supervisor (2 Positions)

Position Summary

Location: based in Phnom Penh and travels to the Target Province

Role Purpose

The Field Supervisor will oversee and manage the field data collection team for the endline evaluation of the Remote Positive Parenting (RPP) and Eliminate Violence against Children in Schools (EVACiS) projects. This role involves interacting with community members to gather necessary data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to ethical standards.

In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.

The consultancy period: May 2025 - April 2026*

*Contract based on available works, Save the Children Calls, and Enumerator Performance.

Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Qualifications and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences, education, or a related field.
  • Desired: Experience in supervising a data collection team.
  • Essential:
  • At least 5 years of working experience in data collection.
  • Strong understanding of children's emotions and good communication skills with children.
  • Experience in digital data collection.
  • Honest, hardworking, and able to work under pressure.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Strong responsibilities.
  • Good facilitation skills.
  • Desirable:
  • Experience in working with communities.
  • Knowledge of local languages.
  • Knowledge of interviewing techniques for data collection
 
 

Enumerator (26 Positions)

Position Summary

Location: Based in Phnom Penh and travels to the Target Province

The Enumerator will conduct quantitative data collection for the endline evaluation of the Remote Positive Parenting (RPP) and Eliminate Violence against Children in Schools (EVACiS) projects. This role involves interacting with community members to gather necessary data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to ethical standards.

Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Qualifications and experience
  • Completed university degree in social sciences, education, or a related field.
  • Desired: Experience in carrying out fieldwork for data collection using structured interviews.
  • Essential:
  • At least 3 years of working experience in data collection.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Commitment to achieving targets within a given timeframe.
  • Experience using a smartphone or computer for data collection.
  • Desirable:
  • Experience in working with communities.
  • Knowledge of local languages.
  • Knowledge of interviewing techniques for data collection
