NHC provides free education and health care to more than 250 poor students in Khmer preschool and English, Computer skills &Social skills to the youth adults.

Position Summary

Location : Mondul Bei, Sangkat Slakram, Siem Reap

Schedule : Part-time (Monday-Friday)

Report to : Education Program Manager

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Teaching & Learning Tasks
  • Preparing lesson planning and teaching materials based on Communicative Language Teaching (CLT)
  • Creating formative and summative assessments (homework, quizzes, assignments, midterm and final test)
  • Ensuring classroom is effectively managed, friendly and educational
  • Identifying growth and weakness areas of students and providing constructive feedback
  • Working from Monday – Friday (2:00-6:00 PM)
  • Administrative Tasks
  • Score entry
  • Student enrollment
  • Record the attendance and report the absentee
  • Communication
  • Discussing strengths and challenges of classroom instruction with team
  • Occasionally working with volunteers on classroom instruction
  • Supporting with NHC’s Events
  • Following other reasonable tasks as required by an education program manager
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Cambodian Citizens for Teaching Adult Learners
  • Great knowledge of English
  • Bachelor of Arts in English (TEFL or TESOL) is preferable.
  • 1-2 years of experience in teaching English
  • Willing to have a sense of professional development
  • Being able to work independently and in a team
