Announcement Description

Our organization

Enfants d’Asie is a recognized public utility association certified by IDEAS label and established in 1991. Its aim is to help underprivileged children in Southeast Asia towards a better future for themselves and emerge from poverty in a sustainable way.

Enfants d’Asie is currently supporting more than 10,500 children from poor families in Cambodia, Laos, the Philippines and Vietnam. Enfants d’Asie provides them with a global accompaniment: from schooling to professional integration, including basic needs and moral support.

The association provides underprivileged young people with access to school and a stable career, thus ensuring a change in the situation of the child, her/his family and of the community, while contributing to the country's economic situation.

Enfants d’Asie in Cambodia

Since 1991, Enfants d'Asie has been working in Cambodia in collaboration with the Cambodian Ministry of Social Affairs and Ministry of Education.

Through access to education, Enfants d’Asie wants to enable the most disadvantaged children to build their future and become responsible actors in their country. We therefore want to fight against everything that forces these children to stop school and give them the same chances of success as others through access to quality education. In order to do this, we are committed to working in collaboration with the families and involving them in their child’s educational project.

Enfants d’Asie Cambodia (EAC), composed of a qualified team of 30 employees, currently supports 700 children:

  • In its own centers: two children’s residential care institutions and one student center
  • Community based children, promoting their access to schooling and encouraging family efforts to keep their child in school as long as possible
  • EA supports 4 state orphanages throughout the country.
