Shanti Volunteer Association (SVA) is Japanese funded NGO dedicated to providing education development support in Asian countries. We are engaged in projects related to Early Childhood Education (ECE), Primary school construction and Non-Formal Education since 1991 in order to provide learning opportunities for all children and adults in Cambodia. Position Summary

Salary: US$350-500 + benefits and allowances

*The specific salary determined based on SVA salary scale and your qualification and experience.

Job summary:

Project staff is expected to engage in “Early Childhood Education (ECE) project” and/or “Primary Education and Non-Formal Education (NFE) Learning center project”.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • To implement Early Childhood Education (ECE) project.
  • Develop necessary documents (program, manual, guidebook, report etc.).
  • Organize project activity in cooperation with stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation activity.
  • To implement Primary Education and NFE Learning Center project.
  • Assist document preparation.
  • Monitoring activity.
  • Document translation and interpretation from/to Khmer/English
  • To Assist other tasks requested by supervisor.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Candidates living in Battambang is preferable.
  • Willing to work in a non-profit organization with the spirit of volunteerism.
  • Willing to participate in the process of achieving SVA’s Goal for society.
  • Experience writing project official report in Khmer/English.
  • Experience working with teachers, community people including vulnerable groups in rural areas to improve their quality of education.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and respect teamwork.
  • Willing to work hard flexibly (sometimes in the night and weekends).
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in education or related fields.
  • Preferably the applicants had been trained in facilitation and coordination skills.
  • Good command of Khmer/English and basic PC skills
  • Basic knowledge related to project management cycle including planning, monitor and evaluation, data analysis and interpretation.
  • Candidate who fully agrees with SVA safeguarding policy and code of conduct.
