Driver/Admin Assistant
Type of contract: Full time Contract
Project: GRET REP
Work location: Phnom Penh Office with travelling to target provinces.
Report to: Logistic Officer/ Admin & Finance Manager
- Admin/Logistic tasks:
- Support Logistic Officer in general office activity and management
- Furniture and office supplies management (purchase and keeping tracks)
- Assist Admin for small purchasing items for office uses.
- Assist in collecting quotes and/or announcement
- Deliver all letters to partners and other stakeholders and handle for postage
- Help to do maintenance inside office building, such as lamp, water licking, aircon, generator, office equipments as safety use
- Perform other tasks required by the supervisor
- Driver Tasks: Transport goods or people in compliance with safety rules, local regulations and Gret’s regulations. Ensure one’s vehicle is properly maintained.
- Report on duty according to the office prepared duty roster,
- Ensure that the assigned vehicle is clean and road worthy
- To check the vehicle condition/ requirement and fill the log book properly
- Ensure proper maintenance and servicing of the assigned vehicle is taking place on day to day and report to supervisor on time
- To drive office vehicle during the office working hours only for the transport of authorized personnel
- Prepare monthly summary of oil/fuel consumption and reported to the supervisor
- Ensure all car travel requested as part of GRET’s activity, in keeping with a predefined schedule and road safety rules.
- Monitor the state of vehicles, make diagnoses. (knowledge of vehicle spareparts)
- Plan and ensure maintenance and/or repairs.
- Keep the vehicle very clean at all times.
- Ensure vehicle documents, tool-kit and safety equipment are present and valid, ensure proper functioning of communication equipment prior to each departure.
- At least High School Certificate or Year I or II of Business Administration/ Equivalent
- Holding a valid driving licence type B (Auto and Manual)
- Vehicle maintenance certificate is preferable
- At least 3 years working experiences in driving a vehicle
- Ability to perform various maintenance services for electrical system and to perform some building maintenance work
- Fast learner on admin and secretary task has assigned by supervisor is preferable
- Good working knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, Email Microsoft Outlook
- Functions well in a multi-task environment
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Good team player
- Can speak and written Khmer and English
- Strong commitment to the mission and vision of GRET
