Disaster Risk Reduction Specialist will lead the implementation of activities aimed at strengthening climate adaptation and disaster preparedness. This role involves stakeholder coordination, facilitation of fieldwork, delivery of training and awareness sessions, reporting, and procurement support to ensure effective project execution.
- Organize field level events for stakeholders, local authorities, and national partners and aligned stakeholders.
- Oversee data collection, validation and reporting.
- Design and lead workshops to develop capacity within local authorities and partner organizations.
- At the community level, implement public awareness and information dissemination campaigns.
- Support project team in the development of required reporting.
- Adhere to internal policies and procedures, such as procurement and safeguarding.
- Master's Degree in Environmental or Climate Science or a related field.
- Experience in hazard risk assessment, climate modeling, and/or vulnerability assessment for 10 years as a minimum
- Prior experience in leading and managing teams operating under short timelines.
- Previous experience in implementing donor-funded projects.
Water Systems and Urban Resilience Expert

The Water Systems and Urban Resilience Expert will contribute to flood risk assessment and urban resilience planning. The role includes collecting localized flood related data in urban areas, assessing vulnerability to populations and infrastructure, supporting the project team as needed, and assisting in the development of digital maps identifying vulnerability and risk thresholds.
- Collect, verify and report urban water and risk data.
- Support field activities, including stakeholder engagement, awareness raising events, and communication activities Assist international counterparts during field missions.
- Contribute to the development digital maps, risk communication tools, and aligned project collateral.
- Master's Degree in Hydrology, Climate Science, Water Resource Engineer or a related field.
- At least of experience in hydrologic modelling and storm water management for 1 year
- Experience in urban flooding, groundwater, or early warning systems for 5 years as a minimum
- Previous experience in implementing donor-funded projects.
Digital Expert

The Digital Expert will develop, maintain and enhance a digital platform capable of aggregating and disseminating climate hazard information. Responsibilities include a review of local and regional systems and technologies, designing data architecture and localized data integration, development of end-user training modules and ensuring user-friendly interfaces and reliable system performance.
- Assess current systems and technology successfully delivering climate hazard warnings.
- Design data flow and platform configuration to ensure a user-friendly interface
- Provide recommendations on appropriate data collection based on platform and data flow design.
- Oversee testing, troubleshooting, and training.
- Perform maintenance to ensure continuous operation.
- Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least of experience in website and digital tool development and data integration for 10 years
- Previous experience in the development of digital early warning technologies is highly valuable.
- Previous experience in implementing donor-funded projects.
