Branch of DAI Global, LLC (DAI) is implementing a five-year (2019-2024) USAID-funded project called Innovations for Social Accountability in Cambodia (ISAC) as a sub-recipient to prime awardee FHI 360. This project focuses on expanding citizen participation and collective action to hold local government accountable for public services, through increased access to information, analysis, and the use of social accountability tools. DAI is managing the implementation of ISAC Objective 3, which seeks to increase the utilization of new or existing technologies in Cambodia’s civil society space, contributing to the improvement of government accountability for the delivery of public services.

Digital Development Interns (3 Positions)

Position Summary

Location: based in Kampong Chhnang (1 post), Siem Reap (1 post), and Kampot (1 post).

Duration/Level of Effort: Six months

Responsibilities

With DAI’s mentoring and coaching, the Digital Development intern will support ISAC NGO partners to promote the usage of its social accountability digital tools among local communities in the target areas. S/he will carry out these activities under the direction of Digital Development Specialists.

Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • University student or fresh graduate in the field of Information and Communication Technology, communication, graphic design, or other related fields. Students or recent graduates in other fields who have an interest in digital development and/or social media are also encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of digital development and/or social media.
  • Ability to communicate in the Khmer language; knowing English is a plus.
  • Demonstrated interest in and commitment to helping local citizens.
  • Willing to work in a team and learn new things.
