This position reports directly to: Head of Innovation & Enterprise Support

Note: This role has the potential for growth and promotion to Manager in the future, dependent on performance.

Duties
  • The Digital Content Coordinator will work as part of a small team of 5 people based in Phnom Penh and will be responsible for the effective implementation of the Digital Resource Center, Learning Management System and Ngeay Ngeay website, as well as managing the social media channels for these projects.
  • Develop digital content: including building web pages using Squarespace and Wordpress; blog posts; social media content; etc.
  • Develop a digital Learning Platform: including digital content such as videos and curriculum that have been created by the SHE team 
  • Manage Online tools: upload videos, upload manuals and articles, update new information.
  • Translations: Translating app content, social media content, workshop content, digital resource center content
  • Social Media Management: Organise Facebook live videos and Facebook tutorials.
  • Project Support: Supporting the Head of Innovation and Enterprise Support with in-country tasks, as well as supporting the digital resource centre team where necessary
Requirements
  • KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Digital Skills (website, content development, social media): The candidate should have good experience in the development of digital resources, including website design (Squarespace or Wordpress preferred) development of social media content and blog posts. The candidate should love all things digital, and be prepared to learn new skills and enhance the organisation’s ability to reach more entrepreneurs around the country using digital tools.
  • Website Management: the candidate should have the ability to manage websites, ideally with experience in using Squarespace or Wordpress. We will also consider applicants that are willing to learn how to use Squarespace other online tools.
  • Language: Fluent Khmer language skills, and high-level English language skills. All reports must be written in English, and communication with major partners may be in English.
  • Willingness to Learn: The candidate should have a keen willingness to learn new skills as the support needed will be varied. The candidate should have a proven ability to learn new skills.
  • Social Media: the candidate should have demonstrated experience in managing social media accounts, creating social media content, and engaging audiences (especially on Facebook)
  • Computer Skills: The candidate should have good computer and digital literacy skills, including Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Demonstrated commitment to both SHE’s Vision and Mission
  • KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
  • High online engagement and unique site visits to Ngeay Ngeay and Digital Resource Centre websites and Facebook pages, with all channels being kept up to date and maintained at all times
  • Successfully complete project tasks (organise FB live videos, tutorials) on time, and to a high quality, according to project timelines and deadlines
  • The Learning Management System is being used effectively across all SHE programming, with excellent feedback from users (SHE trainers and partners)
  • EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Essential
  • Bachelor Degree in a related field (e.g. Digital Marketing, Communications, or other relevant study)
  • Portfolio demonstrating previous digital projects (website, social media accounts, videos, etc.)
  • Desirable
  • Training in Project Management
  • Experience building/maintaining websites

This position reports directly to: Head of Innovation & Enterprise Support

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

Work as part of the Innovation & Enterprise Support Team to launch and maintain innovative digital support systems for entrepreneurs across Cambodia, including a new bookkeeping app for female entrepreneurs (KOTRA Riel), a Digital Resource Center, new Learning Management System for Entrepreneurship training and multiple social media channels aimed at providing information and resources to Khmer entrepreneurs. This includes organizing and implementing user testing of the KOTRA Riel app, translation of content between Khmer and English, creating and uploading content to online channels, (website, Facebook), managing social media communications and liaising with the development team.

  • The Digital Content Support Officer will work as part of a small team of 5 people based in Phnom Penh and will be responsible for the effective support of the KOTRA Riel manager to ensure a successful app launch.
  • App User Testing: Participant recruitment, facilitation, assisting with interpreting results and communicating these to the developer and KOTRA Riel manager
  • Translations: Translating app content, social media content, workshop content, digital resource center content
  • Social Media Management: Creating Facebook content, managing the Facebook page and responding to questions.
  • Project Support: Supporting the KOTRA Riel manager with in-country tasks, as well as supporting the digital resource centre team where necessary

  • Manage KOTRA Riel social media pages & grow KOTRA Riel Facebook following to 5,000 people
  • EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
