Deputy Project Coordinator
- Under the direct supervision of the Project coordinator, the Deputy Project Coordinator will:
- Assist the project coordinator to perform successfully on his or her. duties in the implementation of VST projects.
- Organize conduct regular coordination meeting for day to day management of the project. Draft and circulate the minutes.
- Organize and facilitate missions of the projects.
- Ensure the effective project administration and financial management.
- Facilitate the capacity building program of the projects.
- Supervise and maintain high level of performance by the project and its staff.
- Prepare and ensure proper and regular organization of joint public private Technical committee and steering committee’s meetings.
- Act as facilitator for all project activities, Update project plan and status reports.
- Monitor the implementation of all contract with (TAs) and coordination and equipment of VST under loan and grant projects.
- Schedule and conduct regular project management meetings among director, deputy director, Technical Assistance, other PMU members, MEF and AFD to access the work, discuss and resolve project issues.
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, Procurement, Logistics Management or a relevant field is a distinct advantage
- Experience of undertaking procurement exercises or tenders for goods and services
- 2 to 3 years of progressively responsible experience in procurement.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office application (Word and Excel), email and able to easily navigate the internet.
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Knowledge in tourism sector and vocational training would be a plus
