Since 2005, Cambodian NGO, MoPoTsyo Patient Information Centre is reaching more and more diabetes and high blood pressure patients with services in public hospitals, health centers and communities through Peer Educator Networks: More than 200 trained diabetes patients in 28 operational districts in 12 provinces are volunteering as Peer Educators who help with counseling and access to services. They help facilitate the public services being used by more than 30,000 patients with Diabetes and Hypertension who are members of MoPoTsyo. Our not-for-profit Cambodian NGO works in close cooperation with Ministry of Health and other government counterparts to combine all efforts in combating the growing burden of chronic Non-Communicable Diseases.

Data Entry Officer (1 Position)

Position Summary

Working Hours: 40 hours: Monday to Friday

Directly Accountable to: IT Assistant

Place in the organization: You will be a Team Member in IT Department, working with others in database team and with colleagues in other departments at our Phnom Penh office.

Remuneration: The monthly salary will be in the range of (250$-270$) and paid in riels.

Objectives of the Role:

As a Data Entry Officer, your primary responsibilities will involve the accurate and timely input of various types of data.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Accurately enter assessment data, lab results, prescriptions, invoices, and follow-up information.
  • Work under the supervision of the IT Assistant to assist with system settings and data entry processes.
  • Prepare monthly and annual reports as required.
  • Perform any other MoPoTsyo-related tasks as instructed by the IT Assistant
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • A Cambodian university student.
  • Must have computer skills, such as familiar with Ms. Office, use Internet, Email, social media.
  • Being able to read, write and understand written English and Khmer.
  • Able to work diligently and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible and willing to take on various tasks as needed.
  • Eager to learn and possessing strong problem-solving skills.
  • Understands and is committed to MoPoTsyo's vision and values.
  • Possesses good interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and collaboration with staff at all levels.
  • Be able to perform under a bit of pressure
