Announcement Description

EuroCham Cambodia was inaugurated in 2011 with the support of three founding European Business Organizations: the Chambre de Commerce Franco-Cambodgienne (CCFC), the British Business Association in Cambodia (BBAC) and the German Business Group, Arbeitskreis Deutsche Wirtschaft (ADW).

EuroCham was established with the objectives of promoting the interests of European businesses operating in Cambodia, facilitating the entry of European companies into the market and creating an extensive support network among corporate and individual members. One of its core goals is to promote European companies and brands to the Cambodian market.

EuroCham is seeking a data collection firm to undertake the following:

Data Collection - Construction Materials Outlet Census

  • Location: Stung Treng Province, Siemreap Province, Ratanak Kiri Province, Pursat Province, Preah Vihear Province, Pailin Province, Oddar Meanchey Province, Mondul Kiri Province, Kratie Province, Banteay Meanchey Province, Battambang Province

There are an estimated ~1100 outlets dispersed across all 11 provinces.

  •   Firms that can identify more outlets than this number will be looked upon favorably.
  •    Firms that can begin work in late December or early January will be looked upon favorably.
  •    Firms that can visualise identified outlets on an interactive map will be looked upon favorably.

Scope of Work

The data collection firm must visit each province and mark construction materials outlets across national and district roads. For each identified outlet, a very short survey must be undertaken that details:

  1. Name of the outlet in Khmer (excel file)
  2. Address: street no., commune, district and province
  3. GPS: latitude and longitude (excel file)
  4. Photos of the outlet. Ideally these can link to the entry in excel (or other proposed) database: One photo of outlet shopfront and One photo of outlet signs
  5. Covering 11 provinces as in table above
  6. A remark must be made as to whether the outlet is independent or part of a wider group of companies.

Deliverables:

No analysis of data is required. The expected deliverable is a clean, accurate excel database free of errors.
