Position Overview
The Customer Services Agent role is focused on supporting station management in handling all operational and customer service aspects of Singapore Airlines (SIA) at the airport. This includes managing check-in, boarding, ramp handling, baggage services, cargo operations and overall customer service, while ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high service standards.
Work Environment:
- The role is based at Techo International Airport and involves shift work.
- The CSA reports to the Station Manager and works in a team led by a Duty Manager.
- Customer Service & Operations:
- Ensure SIA’s operations adhere to safety and security standards.
- Provide high-quality customer service according to the airline’s guidelines and procedures.
- Collaborate with ground handling, security, airport and engineering partners to maintain flight punctuality and customer satisfaction.
- Operational Support:
- Perform administrative tasks such as handling mishandled baggage, flight reporting, and verifying vendor invoices.
- Address escalated customer feedback and cases, ensuring timely resolution.
- Assist in special projects, company events and other administrative duties as assigned.
- Other Duties:
- The role will be based at the airport and involves shift-based work, including weekends, public holidays, and overtime as required.
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure.
- English - Fluent
- Bachelor's Degree is required
- Knowledge of airport operations and an understanding SIA’s services is preferred.
- Experience in airline operations is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in IT, particularly Office 365.
- Previous experience at an airport or in customer service is an advantage.
- Customer-oriented with a strong service excellence mindset.
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken). Knowledge of Khmer is an added advantage.
- Pleasant personality with the ability to handle customers tactfully and professionally.
- Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and prioritize tasks with a team of other staff to achieve the company’s targets.
