Announcement Description

Baskets of (Cambodia) is one of the oldest businesses in Cambodia. Since 1996, we have produced original handmade products for distribution in North America and locally. We seek a creative candidate who is keen to use both English and Khmer. The right candidate will have the heart of an artist but also have the ability to be a good manager. This position will include supervising and managing a relatively small but very challenging business. The candidate must have a good eye for quality and consistency, as these have been the keys to our success. Eventual ownership options will also be considered as handmade products are showing a resurgence worldwide.

Baskets of Cambodia (BOC) Co. has survived 27 years serving the USA and North America. BOC is now changing focus to include not just North America but also other markets in Europe and South Asia.

Since beginning we have produced for governments, corporations, tourist locations, high end boutiques, the US Army, even major Hollywood movies, and hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers, and thousands of wholesale stores. We have also helped train basket weavers for numerous charitable NGO’s.

We are not brokers. BOC is a unique style of business that designs, manufactures and distributes all our products. We also work closely with our skilled workers in the countryside - in areas surrounding Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.

This is an inspiring experience especially for those who have a love and respect for handicraft product and development. Our makers use their skill, artistry, and intelligence to produce products that have a high reputation for quality and innovation.

There is no factory environment as all our makers work from home or in small groups in their own villages.
