Responsibility:
Task 1: Business and Operation Strategic Assessment
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the business model, customer segments, competitive landscape, and market positioning.
- Identify strategic gaps, growth opportunities, and priority areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for long-term alignment growth.
- Review internal workflows related to operation, sales, marketing, product delivery, and partner coordination to identify inefficiencies.
- Recommend practical improvements to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and consistent service quality.
Task 2: Sales & Market Expansion Strategy
- Develop a clear, actionable sales strategy targeting international markets.
- Refine value propositions specifically for B2B and B2C target customers.
- Identify market-entry channels, distribution pathways, and potential partnerships, and recommend a structured approach to potential clients.
Task 3: Product & Experience Development
- Evaluate existing tour products, digital offerings, and community-based experiences.
- Recommend enhancements to improve product-market fit, customer experience, competitiveness, and sustainability.
Task 4: Brand & Communication Strategy
- Refine brand messaging to better resonate with international audiences.
- Provide strategic guidance on storytelling, content quality, communication channels, and brand visibility across key markets.
Task 5: Monitoring, Metric and Implementation Plan
- Establish KPIs, success indicators, and measurement tools to track sales, marketing, and operational improvements.
- Develop a practical, phased implementation roadmap for the next 12 months, outlining key actions, timelines, and responsibilities.
- Strengthen team capabilities through coaching or targeted training in sales, marketing, business roadmap, product development, and partnership management to support successful implementation of the strategy.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
- At least 7 years’ experience in sales and marketing, brand development, or digital communication, business operation (preferably in the tourism industry).
- Proven experience in digital advertising and marketing. Including creating, executing, and managing campaigns to achieve KPIs for clients.
- Understanding of best practices in customer experience for the tourism and hospitality sector, with the ability to evaluate and enhance tour/digital products for sustainability and competitiveness.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
- Strong English communication; Khmer understanding preferred.
- Excellent project management skills, and communication skills.
