Swisscontact Cambodia is co-implementing with Khmer Enterprise, the Enhancing Entrepreneurial Ecosystems and Investment (3Ei) project that aims to support the mobilization of impact-investing capital and create an environment to support small and growing businesses (SGBs)1 to generate social and environmental impact. With four core pillars, including collaboration, entrepreneurship and innovation, service facility for blended finance, and data, 3Ei seeks to support the strengthening of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and enhance coordination for more effective and efficient systems. 3Ei is jointly funded by Khmer Enterprise, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

To support us in the project activities we are looking for a motivated consulting firm or individual consultant to Review Financial Report and Business Valuation for Agro Agape.

Agro Agape is a women-led agriculture business provide resource input for solution in Coffee supply chain and transforming agriculture waste into energy for processing.

Agro Agape provides farm-to-table and back-to-farm services for coffee farmers and recycling waste into biofertilizer using solar energy for irrigation and farm management. This cyclical model reduces environmental impact, prevents the use of chemical fertilizers, and thus builds a sustainable agro-ecosystem mitigating climate change and developing Smart Agriculture by providing App, IOT and Automation to scale agriculture productions.

Consultant to Conduct Financial Report and Business Evaluation

Responsibility:

Task 1: Financial Report Review

  • Examine the company’s financial statements, including the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and related notes.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial data and disclosures.
  • Assess compliance with applicable accounting standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Identify any inconsistencies, material misstatements, or areas requiring clarification.

Task 2: Financial Performance Analysis

  • Evaluate key financial ratios, including profitability, liquidity, and operational efficiency.
  • Compare actual performance against established financial projections and historical trends.
  • Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks in the financial performance.

Task 3: Business Valuation

  • Apply appropriate valuation methods (e.g., Discounted Cash Flow, Comparable Company Analysis, Asset-Based Valuation).
  • Consider both tangible and intangible assets, as well as potential growth drivers.
  • Highlight key assumptions, risk factors, and sensitivities affecting valuation outcomes.
  • Provide a clear and reasoned valuation conclusion to inform investment, growth, or partnership decisions.

Deliverables

  • Inception Report – Work plan, methodology, timeline, and required data.
  • Draft Report – Findings on financial report accuracy/compliance, performance analysis, and preliminary valuation.
  • Final Report – Consolidated review with conclusions, valuation results, and recommendations.

Bidder Eligibility

  • Proven experience in reviewing and verifying financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with local standards
  • Strong skills in financial ratio, trend, and variance analysis, with the ability to benchmark against industry standards
  • Proficiency in business valuation methods and assessing tangible/intangible assets
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills for both financial and non-financial audiences
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate finance, auditing, or investment advisory; agribusiness sector experience is an asset.
  • High standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics
  • Very good interpersonal communication skills, ability to work with a diverse team.
