The Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) requested AIIB assistance to finance the loan for Country Climate Resilient Sustainable Irrigation and Water Flood and Drought Mitigation (CCRSIWFDMP). The CCRSIWDFMP addresses the urgent need to enhance climate change adaptation and resilience within Cambodia's water resources sector. The project aims to improve water security, modernize irrigation services, and mitigate the impacts of floods and droughts on rural food production and livelihoods in rural areas in selected provinces. The Phase 1 (2027–2031) will support the RGC in strengthening climate-resilient irrigation systems and sustainable water resources management to foster agricultural and socio-economic development. Initial interventions target six priority provinces severely affected by climate extremes and critical for high rice producing provinces: Kampong Thom, Preah Vihear, Siem Reap, Oddar Meanchey, Banteay Meanchey, and Pursat. The Project Management Unit of MOWRAM is now seeking eligible and qualified consulting firms (“Consultants”) to express their interests in providing the required services.
Expressions of interest must be delivered in a written form to the address (in person, or by mail, or by fax, or by e-mail) provided in the contact details by 29 August 2025 by COB 17:00 hours (Cambodia time) . More detail information is provided in the link : Documents
