Consultancy to Conduct a Feasibility Study

Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility study that is aligned with the complexity and scope of the planned project as well as the political, economic and cultural context.
- Prepare report that includes problem analysis, target group and stakeholder analysis. This should include a baseline study and critically examine the planned project with regard to the OECD DAC criteria -- relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, impacts and sustainability.
- Propose recommendations for the improvement of the project proposal.
Selection criteria
- Proven experience with feasibility studies or evaluations, preferably in the field of corporal punishment, positive discipline and/or parenting, violence against children, child protection, non-violent conflict resolution.
- Experience of conducting feasibility studies or evaluations and research using a mixed methods approach, including participatory and child sensitive methods
- Knowledge of the conditions, guidelines, and quality requirements for projects funded by the Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ)
- Profound knowledge and experience on child rights and socio-economic situation in Cambodia.
- Very good oral and written proficiency in English; ability to speak, read and understand Khmer is an advantage.
