Announcement Description

CCC is currently implementing its fifth phase Governance Hub Program (GHP 2024-2028). GHP has a vision: sustainable and democratic development in Cambodia, and three main outcomes: 1) Partnership and collaboration for advocacy and monitoring amongst different actors at the national and sub-national levels is improved; 2) Voice and representative of CSOS networks are strengthened; and 3) CSOs resources hub at the national and sub-national levels is functional and responded to the needs of CSOs.

The research studies play very important role to serve the member of CCC. The key and practical findings from the research study can serve as the reference source for CCC and its members to propose the key interventions in the projects/programs, organizational strategies, and decision-making (strategic direction). KoBo Toolbox is one of online data collection tool that highly contributes to the process of research studies. KoBo Toolbox is an open-source suite of tools for data collection and management in challenging environments. Developed by Harvard Humanitarian Initiative, the platform is designed to streamline the process of gathering, storing, and analyzing data, particularly in areas with limited infrastructure of internet or internet connectivity.

Short Term : Consultancy

Objectives:

For three full days, the consultant requires focusing on key areas:

  • Teach staff how to write all formulas in KoBo Toolbox;
  • How to convert questionnaire/data from Excel to KoBo ToolBox;
  • How to develop dual languages in Kobo ToolBox;
  • How to develop cascade;
  • Teach staff all features/functions in the Kobo ToolBox;
  • And how to analyze data by directly linking from Kobo to Excel.

Responsibilities of the consultant:

  • Meet and discuss with the focal point CCC about contents, steps, and methodologies for teaching;
  • Develop a training agenda based on the agreed points (contents, handouts, and slide presentations);
  • Develop the questionnaires (sample for study) in advance level;
  • Provide three-days training on KoBo ToolBox in Advance level;
  • Provide Training report with the training evaluation.

Bidder Eligibility

  • The consultant firm, team, or individual with extensive skill, knowledge, and experience:
  • Skill:
  • Have the expertise in using the KoBo ToolBox
  • Analyze data linking the online data KoBo ToolBox to Excel
  • Have expertise in using Advance Excel.
  • Knowledge:
  • Be able to use advanced Excel and advance KoBo ToolBox;
  • Understand the type of questionnaire;
  • Experience:
  • Used to provide training on Advance KoBo ToolBox and Advance Excel at least 2 years;
  • Used to analyze data for research study;
  • Used to manage data for organization or private sector.

Submission Requirements

Interested candidates should submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) and Technical Proposal to the Cooperation Committee for Cambodia (CCC) by 08 July 2024 to email provided in the contact details.

The EOI should include the training method, budget; proposed relevant documents, and demonstrate how the applicant addresses the selection criteria. Applicants should also include a copy of CV and/or team members.
