Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a German federal enterprise and offers workable, sustainable and effective solutions for political, economic and social change processes. Most of our work is commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). GIZ also implements projects on behalf of public and private bodies in Germany and abroad. GIZ operates throughout Germany and in more than 130 countries worldwide with about 17,000 staff members around the globe, some 70% of whom are employed locally as national personnel.
European Union Global Access and Trade Expertise (EU GATE) is co-financed by the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and implemented by GIZ as a contribution to the Multi-Donor Initiative “Global Gateway” led by the European Union. The project works to improve regulations, measures and practices in Cambodia in support of inclusive and sustainable exports to the EU and regional markets. The main direct beneficiaries are MoC, the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), especially the General Directorate of Customs and Excise (GDCE) and selected other public and private entities.
GIZ intends to seek a Cambodian resident consultant(s)/a locally registered consulting firm to award the services/ works described in the enclosed Terms of Reference (ToR).

Offers must be sent in separate PDF files (duly identified as technical offer and financial offer (please don’t mix up a financial price in a technical proposal)) to the email, with the subject: Offer No. 83465436– To formulate Cambodia’s first digital trade policy to the satisfaction of the Ministry of Commerce until 23:59 on 09.06.2024 (offers sent after this date will be automatically disqualified). If more than one offer is received from a bidder in response to a tender, only the most recently submitted offer will be considered.
The default size of e-mails is limited to 30 MB. Above that, GIZ's email servers refuse the message and its attachments. If necessary, send more than one e-mail.

For Cambodian resident consultant, if you are foreigner, please also attach your EB Visa, Work Permit and confirmation of your legal resident in KH.
