SCOPE OF WORK

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Entry

  • Collect data from various sources, including minutes of meeting, training report, field monitoring report, beneficiaries’ profiles, project/program reports, and other relevant documents.
  • Enter data into the monitoring and evaluation database accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure data is complete, accurate, and consistent with established data quality standards.
  • Verify the accuracy of entered data by comparing it to source documents.
  • Conduct regular data quality checks to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.

Record Keeping

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records with approved data and information from project and program staff of all data entered the monitoring and evaluation system.
  • Ensure that all documentation related to data collection and management is organized, kept and easily accessible by project/program staff.

Troubleshooting and Technical Support

  • Troubleshoot data issues and provide technical support to program staff as needed.
  • Provide support to staff on data collection, entry, and management best practices.

DELIVERABLES

Specific outputs and deliverables

The consultant is expected to deliver the following outputs:

  • Data Entry Operation and cleaning for Education M&E data by 31 Oct 2023.
  • Data Entry Operation and cleaning for WASH M&E data by 24 Nov 2023.
  • Data Entry Operation and cleaning for Green Economy M&E data by 15 Dec 2023.
  • Data entry operation and cleaning for cross cutting by 29 Dec 2023.

Bidder Eligibility

  • PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
  • The individual(s) should have the following competencies:
  • Essential criteria
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as statistics, education, management, agriculture, or social sciences,
  • At least 2 years of experience in data collection, data entry and computer applications,
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluation of development programs is an added advantage,
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets,
  • Able to apply basic descriptive statistics using Excel and other data handling applications,
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team,
  • Must have access to a personal laptop to use for the work.

Submission Requirements

Interested candidates or team are invited to submit:

  1. A cover letter and CV that demonstrate your previous work in this field and the expertise.
  2. Financial proposal of consultancy fee in net US dollars.
  3. Oxfam will be responsible to pay 15% withholding tax for resident taxpayer or 14% withholding tax for non-resident taxpayer.
