Part time role based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

THE OPPORTUNITY

This role is responsible for collaborating with implementing partners in Cambodia to plan and execute FHF Cambodia’s projects in alignment with The Foundation’s strategic objectives.

TIMEFRAME

Contract Service Period: 60 Days

OBJECTIVES

The proposed consultancy team will consist of a total of 17 members to ensure effective coverage and support across all study locations and activities. This includes:

  1. Team Leader (Lead Consultant) – 1 individual. The Team Leader will serve as the head of the data collection team and primary liaison with FHF Cambodia. This person will oversee all aspects of fieldwork, including planning and training, supervising the 16 data collectors during both baseline and follow-up, and ensuring data quality and ethical compliance. The Team Leader will coordinate closely with the MERL Manager and research staff, provide regular updates, and address any field challenges (such as schedule adjustments or participant follow-up issues).
  2. Data Collectors (Enumerators) – 16 individuals. The data collectors will carry out the field interviews and surveys under the guidance of the Team Leader. They will be divided as needed to cover all eight provinces and the various participant groups (adult cataract patients and adolescent students) efficiently. Each data collector is expected to have prior experience in conducting face-to-face interviews and administering structured questionnaires in community or health settings.
