Position Summary:
The Community Engagement Senior Coordinator, leading the community engagement and livelihood team, operates across four provinces within the Prey Lang Wildlife Sanctuary (PLWS). This role involves implementing activities for the JCM REDD+ project, enhancing community capacity, and collaborating with various stakeholders. The coordinator plays a crucial role in empowering communities, managing carbon revenue, and aligning activities with REDD+ Project goals.
Additionally, this position ensures strong community ties and compliance with project standards, including safeguarding and gender policies. Working with internal teams such as Law Enforcement, Biodiversity and Science, and Conservation and Technology, the coordinator promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion at the project level.

Duty Station One position based at Koh Kong Field Office, one position based at Pursat Field Office, and one position based at Phnom Penh
Position Summary:
The Community Engagement Programme Officer will work to support the capacity and agency of the communities who are participating in the Central Cardamom (CC) REDD+ Project, to engage with all other active stakeholders in the Project. The position will initially support on facilitating the development of REDD+ Community Communities (RCCs). The RCCs are locally based institutions which are representative of the participating communities and can be used as a vehicle for activities, information flows, participatory decision making and external representation. After they have been formed, this position will support on strengthening and supporting the operational and managerial capacity of these institutions to engage with the REDD+ Project activities. This will primarily focus on supporting the communities to generate, receive and use carbon revenue generated from the CC REDD+ project.
This role will work closely with communities based in the Cardamom Mountains and will utilize strong facilitation and engagement skills to build relationships and trust with a number of external stakeholders. Internally, the position will work with a variety of internal teams including the Governance Team, Law Enforcement Team, Biodiversity and Science Team, Safeguarding Team, Sustainable Livelihoods Team and the Conservation and Technology Team. This position will work to ensure that the project is in compliance with safeguards, gender and other donor and CI requirements and will also help to mainstream and raise the profile of diversity, equity, and inclusion at the project level.
