Community Engagement Facilitator (3 Positions)

The position based in Phnom Penh (1 position) and Kompong Cham (2 positions), with extensive provincial travel.
Position Summary
A member of the Empowerment team Team and reporting to the Empowerment Manager, she/he will work with villages in Kampong Cham and communities within Phnom Penh to facilitate community mapping, awareness raising and planning so that they actively work together to prevent exploitation, especially online child sexual exploitation. She/he will support small groups of youth to be campaigners, researchers and peer mentors in their communities, and facilitate positive parenting to also mobilise adults. She/he will coordinate with the Commune Council for Women and Children and support links with local Government for reporting and response to exploitation.
- Liaise with community and local Government leaders to create awareness, coordination and support for exploitation free villages and communities
- Facilitate household surveys
- Facilitate community awareness and triggering events - facilitate community mapping, photovoice, development cafe, brainstorming and planning of initiative.
- Support youth in communities to be change agents. Use mentoring, training and coaching to encourage and help them be effective campaigners, researchers, peer mentors and advocates.
- Train and manage local volunteers.
- Maintain M and E fles, keep reports updated and fled for ease of reporting to donors.

Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Specialist

Position Summary
The MEAL Specialist, is responsible for working across all of our projects and initiatives in order to help all teams to collect, input and analyse their progress.
They will facilitate and support monitoring data to be used for regular reflection and learning, and will keep a log of lessons and their applications. They will ensure that all in AusCam are regularly reflecting, learning and applying lessons for continuous organisational, project and individual development.
A key role to ensure this regular reflection, learning and applying is through our monthly project variance review. The MEAL Specialist will work with the operations team and project teams to ensure that the monthly finance, activity and output targets and achievements are reviewed and solutions to avoid variance are defined.
They will also ensure that the organisational M and E tracker is regularly updated, and help all staff to know how to access, understand and use this tracker to stay updated on progress and on next steps.
They will maintain the donor tracker, updating all staff, in a timely manner, when reports or other donor compliance requirements.
They will review and support proposal development, to suggest indicators. They will help AusCam to make monitoring as developmental and empowering to those giving the information as possible
They will help AusCam to have as simple, efficient and understandable M and E
system as possible, that is focussed on helping us to learn and improve as well as updating donors.
The position main objectives and tasks :
- To ensure M and E information is updated, tracked and used by all teams for applied learning.
- Work with programme director, project managers and staff to map who is responsible for data collection, data entry and analysis/applied learning
- Ensure all who have M and E responsibilities have the training and support to carry out their tasks on time and without barriers
- To lead the documentation and follow up of a learning log for AusCam
- To support and lead all teams to reflect on monthly variance and use M and E to stay effective.
- Ensure that each project maintains a standard monthly variance tracker that has activity, budget and indicator variance.
- Facilitate monthly variance analysis, lessons definition and next step planning for each project, with input from managers and directors.
- Ensure that lessons defined in monthly variance meetings are clearly documented and linked to SMART goals
- Follow up on SMART goals mid-month and promote a culture of applied learning and adjustment for continual improvement.
- To ensure that donor tracking and compliance is updated and trigger reports or actions well in advance
- Maintain the donor tracker with quarterly updates that log emails, key decisions, report submissions, proposals etc.
- Review the donor tracker, providing a monthly summary of key donor compliance tasks in the month to come, so that managers and directors are aware and prepared to build good donor relationships
- To develop and support ways that M and E is developmental and creates maximum engagement and learning with and between change agents
- Orient new staff, train and coach staff and Change Agents in the use of Developmental M and E.
- Work with communications team to ensure social media reach, engagement and connections to the web and chatbot are measured and tracked
- Work with communications team to support developmental storytelling, use of Development Assets, Most Significant Change stories, Focus Group discussions and other qualitative M and E tools are used to measure and document lessons that can be applied.
- To review and simplify M and E systems, training staff to use them efficiently (with a minimum of duplication)
- Review our current M and E use, so as to propose more efficient and effective use and reduce duplications

- Coach teams to analyse, reflect upon and identify lessons and plans from M and E data

Position Summary
A member of the Empowerment team Team and reporting to the Executive Director, She/he will support our development of a web page for Cambodian Change Agents and equip these Change Agents to post effective campaign videos. The successful candidate will have competency in

- Video - interviewing, editing and posting video case studies of our Change Agents
- Supporting Change Agents to create short (1-2 minute) awareness raising videos
- Working with a web consultant to ensure videos are posted, graphics updated and our website is managed and regularly updated
- Candidates with a Bachelors degree are preferred, but we are prioritising creativity, people skills and the ability to facilitate young women who are change agents to improve their communications.
