The Cooperation Committee for Cambodia (CCC) is the leading and longest-established membership organization for domestic and foreign NGOs in Cambodia. Since 1990, CCC has been working to strengthen the cooperation, accountability and development effectiveness of civil society organizations in Cambodia, and to promote inclusive partnership between government, civil society organizations, development partners, and private sector for sustainable development in Cambodia. Community-based Organization Officer

Position Summary

The Community-Based Organization Officer (CBOO) works under the direct supervision of the CBO Manager (CBOM) to strengthen capacity of CBO core trainers and CBO leaders via capacity development based on the need assessment and guidelines on good practice and sustainability of CBOs, facilitates and coordinate capacity building affairs to strengthen the implementation and of good practice and sustainability of the CBOs, including monitors the application of the guideline, document the case of success, and action reflection NGOs, and provincial CBO networks. Additionally; s/he maintains good relationship and communication with CBO, NGO, Provincial NGO Networks, Donors, CBO-Strategic Working Group (CBO-SWG), and other concerning stakeholders to ensure smooth guideline development/revision process and support mechanism to promote the culture of good practice and sustainability of CBOs. S/he also keeps track data onto CBO database and closely take action follow-up and maximizes the performance and quality.
