Purpose of position: To liaise in all areas of communication, marketing & public relations on behalf of Awareness Cambodia Inc. This includes coordinating all communications with & practicalities of teams & visitors to ACI projects in Cambodia. The CC will work in submission to the In-Country Acting Director (Cambodian Project Director).
- Document all suitable project activity to be used for ACI promotion.
- Report writing (Every time of the visitor coming) with the In-Country Acting Director or Cambodian Project Director (CPD).
- Building relationship with Cambodian government departments as appropriate.
- Translation of documents from Khmer to English / English to Khmer (ACI matter).
- Liaising between Perth, US office, CO & project managers.
- Assist in required communications between ACI projects and outside organizations, including other NGO’s, schools, universities, and training institutions.
- Assist with the required work by the In-Country Acting Director or Cambodian Project Director (CPD).

- Must be willing to travel to provinces and other projects.
- We are preferring both Khmer and English-speaking skills, general computer skills

Residential student support worker

Purpose of position
An opportunity exists for a student support worker to join the Awareness Cambodia team based in Chbar Ampov, Phnom Penh as a weekend Support worker for our residential program.
The Residential student support worker will oversee and supervise students’ activities during weekends at Graduation House, and reports to the Project Manager. This position has a high level of autonomy.
- Supervision of young adult students in a residential facility setting.
- Developing positive mentoring relationships with students.
- Oversee student movement in and out of project.
- Conduct student support meetings and assist students with general issues.
- Manage student curfew and security of facility evening and mornings
- Liaise with management onsite to resolve student and project issues.
- Liaise with other team members (night shift & weekday worker) to ensure smooth running of project.
- We encourage both male and female applicants who have experience in youth mentoring and/or experience working in a residential facility. Highly motivated and proactive, the worker we are looking for needs to have a passion to support and develop Khmer youth to reach their potential. We are preferring both Khmer and English-speaking skills, general computer skills and supervision or management ability for young adult learners. Accommodation for inactive hours and 1X meal per shift is provided.
