Communication Assistant

You will join the communication and fundraising team (3 members). You will be in charge of the community management of Sala Baï social medias and support your department in various tasks.
- Manage Sala Baï’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok): develop an editorial calendar, create content (texts, photos, videos, designs), and monitor performance.
- Design and produce communication materials (menus, signage, sponsor boards, kakemono, etc.).
- Support the department in creating texts, visuals, photos, and videos, and assist with event organization.
- Provide administrative support to the department, including translations between Khmer and English.
- Support client and donor engagement efforts and help maintain strong relationships.
- Assist in preparing reports and communication documents.
- This position is open only to Cambodian Citizens
- Schedule: from Monday to Friday – Between 8am and 5pm including lunch break
- Flexibility to travel in other provinces and work extra hours on specific occasions

- Bachelor's Degree in communication or other relevant training
- Relevant work experience with a preference for hospitality or NGO sector for 2 to 3 years
- Experience in customer and/or donor relations or sales is a plus
- Proficiency with Windows/Google Suite
- Community management & social media handling
- Graphic design and content creation (Canva or similar tools)
- Strong writing skills in Khmer and English
- Strong desire to help underprivileged young Cambodians
- Creative and Proactive : Brings new ideas, suggests improvements, and takes initiative rather than waiting for instructions.
- Comfortable working with different departments, students, and management; able to adjust tone and approach depending on the audience.
- Willing to learn new skills and independent in the learning process
