Reporting Line: Manager, Café and Bakery
- Key Responsibilities:
- In accordance with the training module provided, conduct training or refresh training for local baristas on drink preparation and recipes (new & existing), to ensure that products at each outlet are attentively prepared and served in respect to formulas, methods, instruction, and service protocols from the company.
- Participate to develop and implement new products, including seasonal drinks, and to define marketing mechanism to promote and attract potential customers, in compliance with the Heath/ Safety/ Environment/ Quality.
- Coordinate with TMs & Dealers or Outlet Managers or local barista team leaders to get detailed monthly sales reports from each outlet.
- Develop and frequently update the list of material and equipment to support local café bonjour & bakery, if needed.
- Foster and maintain a good relationship, arrange (bi)monthly meetings with, and lead the local barista teams/team leaders in achieving operational goals through effective motivation and supports.
- Monitor the progress of new partners/ dealers/ local barista teams to ensure that they are properly trained and providing excellent guest service.
- Be engaged & proactive in the development of new drink menu or bakery items and testing.
- Assist to Manager to conduct HACCP survey and the top services.
- Other tasks
- Smoothly work hand in hand with all supporting function and close cooperation with Services & Category team, Retail development and Engineering department, Corporate Affairs, Marketing & Lubricant department, and others.
- Ensure compliance with the Company’s rules and regulation of HSEQ, standard, compliance, top services, and station HSE invariants
- CSR projects related to Café and Bakery
- Other administration tasks requested by manager or within team.
- Educational background: High school diploma or holding any coffee barista training certificates.
- Skill: Possession of an outgoing, friendly personality and the desire to provide quality service. Ability to work independently; big-picture perspective; team spirit; open-mindedness; listening skills; ability to generate new ideas and demonstrate conviction and influence; organizational skills; an interest in supporting teams and managers.
- Knowledge: Extensive experience and good understanding of café business, sales and marketing (a plus), experience in dealing with different sorts of people, strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work under high pressure. Ability to convey a professional image to guests and provide a flexible schedule. Ability to interact and communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Language: Good command of English writing and speaking.
