Child Protection Project Officer (1 Position)
Place: ADTJK/AEC-Foyer Lataste, Khla Kaun Thmei, Sisophon, Banteay Meanchey
Starting date: From 01st June 2025
Permanent contract: 40 hours/week, 3 months trial period. This position can only be held by native Khmer and living in the Banteay Meanchey Province.
- Program Implementation and Monitoring
- Under the guidance of the Field Coordinator and Executive Director, play an active role in achieving and delivering the expected outcomes, outputs and ensure smooth and effective day-to-day implementation of the Program,
- Follow-up of the middle and high school students at school and their families.
- Assure the program implementation which are concerning with (Schedule management, Children monitoring and rules, Pocket money, Clothes, Health check-up, Children Permissions, Holidays organization, Annual holiday trip, Orientation days for futu...
- Suggest modifications or evolutions in procedures for better quality and efficiency of work.
- Youngsters supervision
- Be aware of the internal rules. Youngsters have to respect in the internal rule
- Organize and follow-up activities for the youngsters in the center
- Supervise the gardening activities and the cleaning in the center
- Ensure the well-being (social and physical) of each beneficiary
- Budget Management
- Prepare program annual budget,
- Prepare cash box monthly needs and anticipate your expenses accordingly with the annual budget.
- Communication and External Relations
- Develop and maintain qualitative relations with beneficiaries and families,
- Share ADTJK vision, mission and goals for positive recognition of NGO activities and strengthening of partnerships,
- Reporting
- Every year (In January) write the report of the program implementation for the precedent year
- Semesterly joining meeting with field coordinator and the program donors.
- Soft-skills required for the position
- Strong commitment to child safeguarding and adherence to the Child Protection Center’s internal policies and code of conduct.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and social skills, empathy, integrity, and professionalism in dealing with sensitive situations.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Hard-skills required for the position:
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in child protection, social work, or education, ideally with vulnerable or at-risk children.
- Good knowledge on planning, implementing and monitoring child-based program
- Knowledge in Word and Excel
- English language needed (spoken and written).
