Chief Engineer
Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
- Create, implement and execute the annual preventive maintenance plan for the hotel;
- Manage the operation of the department to ensure outstanding guest service, experience and product quality;
- Manage repair, renovation and maintenance projects including budget, schedule, contractors and ensure high quality outcome;
- Ensure the safety of guests and personnel within the premises by strictly adhere to all corporate Health and Safety policies and local regulations;
- Closely monitor energy usage and ensure reasonable expenses; and
- Ensure that all potential and actual hazards are reported immediately and rectified.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role within luxury hotels in Asia;
- Extensive knowledge in mechanical, electrical, building systems/services and energy management;
- Excellent organizational, planning and team management skills;
- Creative and having a hands on approach;
- Attention to detail and quality, guest orientated mindset; and
- Self-motivated, driven to deliver, proactive and flexible with outstanding interpersonal skills.
