Duties & Responsibilities:
- GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The chief Accountant is in-charge of all accounting activities of both financial and management accounting
- They are responsible for preparing financial and performance reports, assisting departments with annual budgets and reviews, internal control and tax studies. Creation of finance and accounting policies/procedures with an acceptable standard, and ensure its effective implementation. Guides communication with the related department to establish common strategies objectives, goals, policies and programs for best practices.
- SPECIFIC TASKS:
- Develop Sales and Marketing Strategy – Working with members of the related department, the chief accountant will drive the creation and implementation of the company’s accounting and finance strategy to ensure its effective implementation.
- Grow the Business – A chief accountant also ensures that the company abides with the set of laws implemented by the state related to taxes and handing financial transactions. Other tasks of chief accountants include monitoring financial position, financial performance and cash flows of the company; revising any discrepancies of reports; and checking the company’s assets and liabilities that could affect its equity in the future
- Team Building, Maintenance and Participation – Partners with related department as well as other business leaders to ensure effective coordination and relationships with all disciplines of the organization

- As a Chief accountant, you will be a key member of the Leadership Team and your responsibilities will include:
- Establish budgeting and financial targets and
- Overseeing the payroll and monitoring spending level
- Provide regular reports, recommendations and interpretations to managers on financial matters
- Keeping financial and administration records
- Coordinate and monitor internal financial control processes.
- Perform financial monitoring of expenditure against budget
- Ensure the efficient recording of account
- Ensure that expenditure is covered by correspondence budget as reflected in the work plan and budget approved by the management
- Supervise deposit and withdrawal of money from the depository bank
- Supervise all ensure disbursement of cash to project staff as per cash advance, payment voucher, or expense claim forms authorized by management.
- Check appropriate and legitimate handing of the petty cash
- Supervise and check payment of bills presented by cahier
- File all financial documents in an orderly manner
- Prepare financial reports
- Supervise, coach and appraise personnel under supervision
- Communicate clearly and directly with employees concerning performance expectation, productivity and accountability
- Prepare monthly summary closing stock and stock transfer
- Prepare financial statement and tax payment
- To file all financial document in and orderly manner
- Update bank book to against with bank statement and reconcile bank book and bank statement
- Organizing, leading and motivating the team
- Other duties assigned by the General Manager and Owner

Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance or related field.
Work History:
- At least experience in corporate or private sector including Accounting and Finance for 3 to 5 years

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
Work History:
- Experience in a sales or sales management role for 2 years as a minimum

- Excellent command of English (Khmer and/or French are a plus).
- Strong understanding of the food and hospitality market in Cambodia.
- Solid analytical mindset – comfortable with numbers, data collection, and interpretation.
- Valid driving license required.
