Category Manager
Reporting Line: General Manager of Retail Business
- Develops and implements the Retail Business’s Shop, Service and Partners
- Coordinate with regional team on specific adaptation/ projects/ standard for implementation in all Shop, Service and Partners activities with Retail Service Station
- Develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy for the Shop, Service and Partners business for the company to maintain sustainable growth and profitability in its retail operations in the market which covering Shop, Service and Partners, Kiosk rental business, Car Care Product and Lube inside the shop space rental for ATM and other food partner businesses at all the stations. This is to improve sales/margin, increased Shop, Service and Partners revenue
- Initiate and develop the attractive marketing; also, to bring up the idea how to attractive the customers from fuel forecourt to buy in our shop and other service activities; and promotional strategy for all sale activities (Shop, Service and Partners) in conjunction with Marketing and Communication Department
- Have a proper Shop, Service and Partners segmentation and renovation plan for all locations, and if require upgrade them
- Fast track development of Shop, Service and Partner businesses in conjunction with local and regional support team
- Optimize profitability include franchise fee, rental, minimize loss/gain and other income from all locations including the partnerships with the listed suppliers.
- Analysis of Shop and service business report (turn over, revenue, best/fast selling/slow, supplier, for Bonjour Shop, CCP (inside shop), wash business, lubricant (inside shop), space rental and other non-fuel activities, and provide action to bring in new and attractive items to add inside the shop for sale
- Develop market intelligent and keep on study about competitor’s development plan and their strategy and position ourselves into this competition market
- Promote brand awareness of the company into the public and ensure the penetration into every city of Cambodia, also work on strategy to have the attractive items to sell in the Shop, Service and Partners
- Define a clear strategy for partnerships in shops (supply, branding…) sets the objectives and coordinates and supervises a team of Category Managers and of Merchandisers.
- Creates and updates the Shop, Service, and Partners tools: POS system, product assortment, flow charts, zero shortage sheet etc.
- Involved in projects for the creation/reconstruction of new stations (model plan, SFS potential) while assuring observance of the technical and image standards.
- Manage, control, and evaluate the quality of customer service, and top service
- Work closely with TMs and other involved team through the monthly analysis of Shop, Service, and partners turnover per activity and per family
- Analyze the market for partnership possibilities and work on different business models with partners to improve Shop, Service, and partners business
- Ensure the general principle outlined in HACCP food hygiene procedure is to be implemented within the business unit
- Ensure point of contract for retail business line in terms of food hygiene, identifies challenges surrounding food safety (Financial, Commercial, Technical, Human)
- Manage quarterly business review with GM of Retail Business and Optimization and other related team on performance
- Actively involved on digital and other projects assigned by General Manager of Retail Business
- Ensure to follow 100% standard (business and marketing for the new set up (or renovation) Shop, Service and Partners
- Regularly organizes business review/meeting with the General Manager of Retail Business and other related department
- Other duties assigned by General Manager of Retail Business
- Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing fields
- Experience: Great experience on Retail store, convenient store, good knowledge of the Network (Merchandiser/ Category Manager previously held) or experience in commercial/distribution
- Skill: Analytical skills and ability to see the overall picture; concern for economic performance. Creativity, team players
- Knowledge: MS Office- Excel and PowerPoint, Internet and Email proficiency, is preferrable
- Language: Good proficiency of English for both writing and speaking.
